No video yet.

There's a new Yoplait Light commercial featuring an annoying teenage twit who crows about how she's playing her mother for a fool.  First she narrates to the viewer about how she knows her mother's been "swapping" one of her high-calorie junk-food snacks for a Yoplait Light but doesn't mind, because she says, "It's orange creme." And she pronounces the word "creme" with a short "e," the French way, instead of like the word "cream" like most Americans would.  Then she starts blathering about how she decided to do a little "swap" of her own and swap out her ill-mannered boyfriend (who greets her at the door with "Hey girl") for another boyfriend who was not only just as ill-mannered but less clean-cut-looking... and then went back to the old boyfriend when her mom objected.

I wanted to reach right through the TV screen and B-slap that little twat.  Another example of a commercial kid who thinks she's smarter than her parents and behaves in a way that would have gotten my behind tanned when I was her age.  She's just the type who'll get pregnant by bad-boy boyfriend and then, when she demands to run off with him and get married but mother says no, murders mother in a fit of rage and shows no remorse when she's caught and sentenced to a place where she'll never have another Yoplait Light Orange Creme (pronounced "cremm" instead of "cream") again.

I thought the idea of bringing home an even worse guy was kinda funny.  Problem was, he didn't really seem any worse than the first guy.  I think she should've brought home some black thug type in a hoodie or maybe some guy with face tattoos as the "even worse" guy.  Or maybe Ron Jeremy.

^True.

Though, the first guy was arguably a much better specimen, physically. I guess mother figured if she's going to be a premature grandmother, she may as well make sure her daughter gets the superior sperm.

In a way, I've gotta side with the daughter in this one.  The first dude just looked like a slob.  The second one, looked like he worshipped Satan.  Hmm, dude who looks like a slob or someone who looks like he worships Satan?  I think I'd let her choose slob looking boy....

Is that the same bratty daughter from those cascade commercials? The one where the daughter is snotty about there being some film or something on the glasses? I haven't seen that one in awhile (thankfully, lol).

Breaker 1-9, this here's the Silver Devil, and I must admit this ad is pure USDA Grade A garbage. In all my life I have never seen such a vile piece of trash in advertisin'. All I wanna do is hogtie that little twat and make her watch unfunny comedy movies. I thin' YoPlait needs to go back to yon drawing board and make a better ad.

If she were my daughter, and I heard the "two can play at this game" line, she would be on the next bus to disciplinary boot camp-- and as the bus pulled away, I would hold up a sign that said "Two can play, but only one can win. Checkmate". And people wonder why I don't have kids....

She shouldn't be pronouncing it the French way to begin with.  "Creme" in French means cream, and this being a non-fat product, there's no cream in it to begin with.  In English, "creme", though pronounced "cream", could mean anything.

Maybe I am a little dense, but I honestly don't really understand the analogy they are trying to make in this commercial.

Her mom gives her a yogurt instead of potato chips, presumably because it's a healthier alternative.
So the daughter then brings home a new boyfriend who is "worse" than her current boyfriend, so her mom will be more accepting of the current boyfriend. OK, fine.

But how is that the same thing as the yogurt vs. the potato chips?

^  Don't even bother.  I gave up trying to make sense of commercials around the time of "Travis!  You're years too late!"  I think that was a Levi's commercial, though I wouldn't guarantee it.  Coulda been Wranglers.

Just be glad they didn't work "swapportunity" into the commercial.

This bratty bitch doesn't make sense because her mother rather her have a healthy snack once a week, she's all of a sudden playing tricks. Just because she didn't approve of her sloppy looking boyfriend she quickly tramped it up and got a new boyfriend so quickly, then quickly reverted back to the other one to teach her mom not to question 1st boyfriend again. If I was the mother I'd be wondering why my daughter is exhibiting whorish traits.

WTF does this have to do with Yoplait? This commercial isn't telling me anything about the product. Its teaching teens how to try and outsmart their parents.

Lol "sup girl" I hate this f**king generation... I was born in 91. I wish I could have experienced the 80's as an adult. It's really going to be bad in 20 years when I am about 40.

This commercial is shallow than a puddle. It's clearly aimed towards women, telling them to lose the wieght. It's not funny, it's not entertaining it's stereotypical bitchiness.

I totally agree.......this is not a commercial for Yoplait.......it would NOT make me want to buy this product.  Terrible move Yoplait on your decision to make commercials like this.......just what is it teaching our children. Parents should not be played as fools.

As the mom of 3 sons - one of whom went through the all-black wearing, dog-collared, spiked hair phase - I can tell you the look has little to nothing to do with satan worship.  The phase passes quickly the less attention it gets.

This brat is just happy her mom has given her an unspoken rationale for doing what she jolly well pleases - which she would have done anyway.  Little snot.

It's probably more about giving the appearance of being a Satan-worshipper.

I guess you should just be glad he didn't get any face tattoos or ear gauges during the phase.  Or did he?
