I feel his pain. I, too, routinely suffer the full-screen 'loading' spinner. That lady must be a pro though. She can see a crash/freeze coming and become increasingly distressed until the grand failure. I wish I could do that. Why does he look at the USB drive for so long? "What is this? What even do I do with this? It is so unique, I'm totally stumped. I'll just try this hole." He doesn't have any temp files. Truly the target audience. Wow, his computer is really fast now. In the span of five seconds he is: 1) On Twitter 2) In the middle of writing a post on flickr 3) Googling 'WHERE TO FIND GOOD MUSIC' (scrolling down while still typing) 4) On Twitter again (why is his browser fullscreened) 5) On Yahoo frontpage Now his browser isn't fullscreened anymore and he has a few dozen tabs opened in Chrome and he is on Linux using Gnome and getting infected by a driveby download that activates the Matrix and makes his Linux computer bluescreen on ABCD.SYS. What does this guy have connected to the serial port??? "Oh wow the program that runs on startup and downloads an unknown file for no reason goes a lot faster now thanks" It's true guys, I ordered this and it made my internet faster and it actually forced my ISP to give me back money while doubling my speed. > Google Ireland He's trying to find music again. Now he can't remember how to get to flickr so he Googles it. Now he's on flickr and oh never mind I guess we're done This sounds like a really great product. It's just a shame I have to wait to get it in the mail. It sure is too bad there's no way to get software like over the internet or something. |

One of my customers bought a Win Cleaner. I also remarked that it looked like a regular USB Drive, and he agreed....

It looks like I haven't really posted since the end of 2009, except I visited once in 2010 (and I know I would pop in sometimes to read). You know how it gets busy, or interests change. I actually didn't really see a commercial for a long time so this wasn't a pervasive part of my life or anything.

i just saw one of these wincleaner commercials. that commercial was so obviously fake, those idiots aren't even trying to hide the fact that its a scam anymore.
i feel sorry for anyone who uses this system cleaner (good luck fixing all the problems this type of program causes while it supposedly fixes other problems, seriously, good luck with that.) since more often than not these "cleaners" do far more harm than good and if you bother to study a bit you could probably solve most problems this type of program "fixes" on your own. |
