Been watching the Youtube channel of this Russian guy named NFKRZ (No F**KeRZ, it seems). He shows life in Russia. Here, he shows the modern apartment buildings being constructed in many cities. Kinda fascinating, and the guy's pretty cool to listen to. |

That was pretty interesting. Cool Russian guy. And at 16:50 he makes the case for the superiority of communism/socialism over capitalism. Thanks, Thor. Would never have expected that out of you. |

He hardly makes the case for Communism. He has one video about some pro-Commie American kid who he jokes might be autistic. He's no fan of Communism. Besides, I think I mentioned here years ago, about a friend of my bro's who was sent by AT+T to be some sorta financial officer for their Russian communications division (or something like that). He said conditions were horrible. It's all about corruption. I remember him saying how the airports flooded regularly. He said the Russian culture was damaged by lifetimes of Commie rule. Besides, I don't think that's news. Oh, and by the way, I was also watching a video about Stalin's "Cannibal Island" in Siberia. You can look it up, but I think you get the idea. |

Hey, it's no big deal to me either way, but the guy clearly states that in the old, commie Russia, people got to live in decent housing. Then he sarcastically thanks modern Russian capitalism.
And to be clear, I didn't say he was a big fan of communism. But he did point out one instance in which an outcome under communism, was superior to capitalism. I was just surprised I'd see something like that in one of your posts.

Really? It's not as if he's saying Commie construction is good; it's just better than what the scam artists there are building.
Seriously, I wasn't the least bit concerned that I was in the slightest way, giving any credit to Commies. In fact, I think in the second video, he briefly makes fun of Trump. |

I am not a die hard proponent of either socialism or capitalism because they both have plusses and minuses.
I think the best economic system would be based on capitalism with some of the good elements of socialism included. A hybrid system. And honestly, that is basically what we have now. I think we could stand to tweak it a bit, with a bit more elements of socialism. |

I found a new favorite show, I also found where PaWolf got his PaWisms. The lead character is Mark Harmon. He has some rules to live by. It's a great show with lots of talent touching on edgy subjects. |

I don't watch these channels associated Discovery +! WHAT IS ON DISCOVERY PLUS?discovery+ is Discovery’s foray into the Streaming Wars. The new service hosts over 55,000 episodes of classic Discovery Channel, Food Network, TLC, HGTV, OWN, Magnolia Network, and Animal Planet shows, with new episodes added every day. Plus, discovery+ will be home to exclusive originals featuring the company’s biggest stars, including Chip and Joanna Gaines, 90 Day Fiancé couples, and more. In my channel surfing...I found an old favorite. Modern Marvels. I love this show! |

Does it make me less of a man to watch 50 Shades of Grey? The girl is really hot!

Yes, it does. But it'd be OK to watch The Bridges of Madison County. Love, Actually, too. Just be sure and let us know how you liked them. Go ahead! |

Does it make me less of a man to watch Grey's Anatomy? I wish I could find the clip. There was a bus crash with High school students on board. One of the attractive young women suffered a broken Coccyx. "the bottom of your bottom" The doctors explain...."OMG! I broke my ass?"

I've got an old episode of Rawhide on.
A young Clint Eastwood in his first major TV role as Rowdy Yates. I like the old 1950's and early 60's black and white westerns the best. The old half hour black and white episodes of Gunsmoke in particular. |

I've switched over to M*A*S*H. I am easy to entertain. Not part of the best era, the later episodes with Harry Morgan were the best.

I know many people didn't like that version and preferred Chuck Woolery's, but I thought Bill was pretty good and funny.

I'm one of those who preferred the Chuck Woolery version; but the Engvall version isn't all that bad.

I'm hanging out with Roseanne today. I know, I don't want to have to think about it. They did have some great writers. And I had a thing for Darlene. |
