Watching the news.

High speed car chase going on in Colorado right now.  Some guy took an SUV that had been left running and with a 4 y/o inside at a gas station, and took off onto the freeways and residential areas, often in the wrong direction.  An hour or two later, he clips a minivan, forcing it to stop.  He gets out and forces the young female driver to get out.  He then takes off in it.  The chase continues.  Hopefully, the kid he left behind in the SUV is OK.

Living in TheGreatWhiteNorth, *WE* get 'T.V. from Elsewhere'.
Nobody else gets our channels - I'm pretty sure aliens from outer space are trying to make me crazy by forcing me to watch 'bad t.v.'

I am watching Magnum, PI on either Starz or Encore (free weekend). I had such a crush on Tom Selleck and still love Magnum! but the first time Tom shows up in a scene I remember one thing that always bothered me about the show: his shorts are shorter than Miley Cyrus'. I know they did it intentionally but man, they look ridiculous!

A docu/drama titled, Vincent van Gogh: Painted with Words on Ovation. Was flipping channels and heard a voice that sounded familiar. Benedict Cumberbatch is playing Van Gogh!

A documentary about the increase of sinkhole activity in Florida. When we lived there, we lived on the edge of 'protected' lands. Protected from everything but sinkholes, it seemed - one opened up at the far edge od the back yard.

(not really watching) in the background, we've got an old Charles Bronson movie, 'Messanger of Death', where he portrays a news reporter (and for once, isn't out avenging the death of everyone else, even though everyone is ending up that way). This is the first movie I have ever seen someone get thrown through a first-story window, into a dumpster full of empty boxes - and they almost died.

Confused!WAIT!!! The movie ended in the middle of the movie!
(I hate it when that happens - but even more so when there is very bad ending credits religious-choir-rock-music from SoCalexico) Somebody just called someone else a liar, they shot each other and left Charles Bronson as the last man standing - and in a tuxedo, at that. Think they ran out of characters...

Stephen Colbert and his staff found themselves in a bit of a controversy. It started with this tweet.

^As usual, Colbert and staff turned that scandal back on the ones who created it.

I think this is listening & watching. Something made me think of the song at the end of Blazing Saddles and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I was also started to do the dance too! Very catchy.

Teeth   is the name of a very strange movie.
A young, attractive girl living next to a nuclear power plant.
Her and her boyfriend are into some heavy petting.
He wants to go all the way but she resist, once the rape is successful, he is screaming in pain. Remember the title?
The young lady realizes that something must be wrong. She goes to a gyno.
This is not a good doctor, he goes way beyond the standard exam, and ends up with several fingers missing. Get the idea?  Weird stuff on the early morning boob tube.

Was watching a few lion videos and came across this one.  Apparently a male from one pride was trying to invite himself to another pride's dinner, and yeah things escalated rather quickly.  According to the filmer/uploader these 2 prides had been feuding for the past 6 months, so it's pretty much just another day at the office, so to speak.

I started watching a bit of Suburgatory on my Comcast "On-Demand".  It's one of those "no laugh track" comedies (which means there's not much there to really laugh at).  But that doesn't mean it's not good.  In fact, it's pretty entertaining.
