A short time ago, I popped in the SpongeBob SquarePants Season 4 disc 2 DVD so I could listen to the song "Best Day Ever".

Well, what did you expect I'd be listening to?
If you guessed the "Armageddon over Wacken" compilation, then go to a heavy metal concert (Metallica or Anthrax will do in a pinch here), and intentionally ignore the "NO STAGE DIVING" signs so that security comes & hauls your butt off to jail.

Aldo Nova "Subject"

I want to listen to the song "Monkey On Your Back" - it's about people who get hooked on heroin.
I wanted to listen to it even though I do not use (and have never used) heroin or other needle drugs. :cornfused:
I also wanted to listen to the songs "Armageddon (Race Cars)", "Hey Operator", and "Africa (Primal Love)".

Later on, I may also listen to the song "Best Day Ever" from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode of the same name.

And after that, I may listen to the new Metallica album "Death Magnetic" - I just received it early yesterday afternoon.

OK, I love the song Heroin by Lou Reed.  And Hand of Doom by Black Sabbath.  I've never tried the stuff either.

Me, too.

Someone gave me a t-shirt that says:
Am I getting old, or is the supermarket playing really great music these days?

I find that, these days, I'm liking just about everything pre-1980.  I must be getting old.

I love the Young Rascals.  I even liked their attempt at hippie rock.  Let's see if Youtube has it.

Nope.  But the song was See, and had this really great line:

Music%20Note Echoes of the Everland, discover who you really am Music%20Note

I used to try and fly away
Upon the flood of dreams
Tasting all the good and bad
From on the serpents tree
Little ones remind us of a place we used to be
Echoes of the ever land
Discover who you really am

Hmmmm, now I'm listening to Piper At the Gates of Dawn by Pink Floyd in memory of Richard Wright.  I'll never forget how I felt the first time I heard the song "Astronomy Domine", however right now I am listening to track "The Gnome" which is so catchy.

Pink Floyd has such a way of messing with my head.  I actually broke up with an ex-fiance once because I was so engrossed in the music.  In hindsight, I say, "Thank you, Pink Floyd!"

Well, what did you expect I'd be listening to?
If you guessed Metallica "Death Magnetic", then put a bunch of powerful horseshoe magnets inside of a coffin and sprinkle a liberal amount of iron filings on & around it.

Billy Squier "Don't Say No".
