ShockedDisapprove THIS is one truly messed-up commercial - everything is wrong in it:
1.) The Moms are busy looking at each other in traffic as they race each other
2.) The kids appear to be at 'booster seat' age
3.) The surviving Mom asks her own kids if they are o.k....but doesn't say a word about the other mother or her kids' friends in the other car who may have eaten a windshield and probably got a little 'new jewelry', like a mirror through the neck.
4.) Surviving mom even bother to call '911'? Looks more like she's going ask her kids if they would like fries with the burgers.

Just saw this ad for the first time this evening, and I agree with all of the above plus two more:

1.   Mom is spending all of her pilot time "bobble-heading" (that is, her attention is directed all over the place, gawking at the other driver - why?? - and goofily gazing at her ever-lovin' kiddies - again, why??)   She is NOT looking at the road in front of her at all.  Why the hell is she allowed to drive at all?  Mr. Mayhem is riding shotgun, I guess.

2.   White car driver, if she survives the horrific impact, probably has a claim pending against he vehicle manufacturer.  I see that the airbags didn't deploy.

Ugly, obnoxious ad.  The only message I get is that I wouldn't get in a car with either of these nitwits.  The poor kids.

Oh no, they'll look more like they've been Bedazzled all over with bits of broken glass... Wink

'Negative Shock Factor' just doesn't seem to be a good selling method.
I can't get over the fact this commercial made it to the airwaves.

When *I* need brake pads, I know one company I will avoid.

^ All of the above Thumbs Up and ...

all that heavy breathing from safe car mom.  I thought I was listening to the soundtrack of a K-Y Jelly Quick Moments Before Teen Boy Comes Home Passion Moment!

The ad says Wagner brakes stop you sooner.  But sooner than what?  Another brand of brakes?  Most of which are probably better than theirs anyway?  Sooner than a car with worn-out brake pads?  Another misleading claim for the adtards.  Kind of like the 15% you save with Geico.

"50 feet sooner", but only if you have one of the three vehicle models tested (which probably have the crappiest factory brakes known to mankind).
Otherwise, could be 250 feet later.  We just don't know.

Keep in mind, the whole commercial is fiction.
That probably includes the claim.

PS:  This woman driver has the slowest reflexes ever.

All I know is, if that truck had been moving a fraction of a mile per hour slower or if the woman in the white car had been going a fraction of a mile per hour faster, rather than plowing into the truck's rear wheels, she would have gone underneath the box and likely been decapitated.

Then they could've segued into a commercial for something that gets tough stains like blood, out of upholstery.

They probably still could have done that as you just know everyone got a heapin' helpin' of impact glass, at a minimum.

In your pic, ol'mule - what kind of car do you think that was? My bet is on a Hyundai Elantra. I'd like to snatch those tail lights, even though I don't have that brand. Has to be a cheap car as it has 4-bolt wheel pattern, but I don't think an upscale 5-bolt would have made much of a difference, other than taste. No matter - it is accidents like that which make me happy to see DUI checkpoints.

Nah, for a complete decapitation, a segue to something like Symbicort (to open clogged breathing tubes) would be in order.  Tongue
