Isn't Wachovia one of those banks that went down the toilet a few days ago? UnhappyConfusedAngryDeadAngryConfusedUnhappy
If so, what is this banner doing on my AT&T Webmail web page (it was found on 10-02-08 at 8:14pm PDT)?

they're still in a deal to be partly bought by Citi and with Wells Fargo. They're competing for them.

Interestingly enough, the day AFTER the announcement, Wachovia aired a commercial I'd never seen...has a 'possible new customer' walking around with cash falling on him every where he goes...guess they didn't get THAT customer, or many like him, in the end...

Once upon a blue moon, I actually *somewhat* admired their method of operation - then they got a bit too big...
