One of the rare commercials airing these days that I actually like features two guys going on a road trip, but it’s aTeach Yourself Spanish tape in the car stereo. After you see them driving around for a while, practicing along with the tape, they stop at a gas station. The passenger gets out and complains in fluent Spanish about how there was no music, and the driver asks him, also in fluent Spanish, to get a bag of chips.They subtitled that last part. If only all commercials could be so clever.
