Video Moderator Needed

   With the growing number of posts in the CIH Forums containing YouTube video,

I need a moderator who can make sure video is being used properly.

This moderator's responsibilities will be:

1 Find threads in the "Commercials You Hate" section and "Commercials You don't Hate" section

that contain YouTube links, and make sure they are properly formatted and wrapped in TUBE  tags.

For example, this link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7d1S6rBTKg

Everything after the "watch?v=" is the YouTube video ID. 

So, the ID for this link is R7d1S6rBTKg.

Placing this ID inside "TUBE" BBCode tags will embed the YouTube video in the post.

Sometimes the link looks like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdvL3FBwHEc&feature=channel

For this link you want everything after the "watch?v=" and before the "&"

So the video ID for this link is bdvL3FBwHEc

2 Change the message icon to the "Video" Icon.

3 Make sure the Topic Subject clearly states what commercial the post is about,

and add the word video in parentheses.

For example: Secret Deodorant commercial with annoying armpit girl (video)

4 Make sure video is appropriate. Remove if necessary.

Make sure the video actually is the commercial the poster is talking about.

Make sure the video does not have EBAUMSWORLD or some other website or logo pasted across the bottom.

Make sure the video is not disgusting or pornographic. Disgusting is your call.

You will have "Video Moderator" placed beneath your Avatar on all posts,

	There are some videos that, apparently, can't be taken from Youtube, and when you go to play them on CIH, the video says "Video no longer available". Seems like the original poster should always check the video they just posted to make sure it'll actually play. In those cases, I've provided the link, but I've mentioned that the actual video isn't "available".

	Hi all. At Nathan's request, I've been going through posts that link to video, and putting TUBE tags in, and adding the video icon to that topic. I'm also PM'ing those folks, whose posts I've edited. Cheers!

	Aw shucks [EDIT] I'm only TUBE'ing posts in the Commercials I Hate and Commercials I Don't Hate sections. Anything in Off-Topic, Flame Room, etc. - is beyond my scope.
