I can't tell you how angry I am at what TV Land has become. It is barely watchable, and because someone had the genius idea of keeping the shows their original lenght, but using today's standards of commercial time, EVERY SHOW OVERLAPS until you get the one hour episode of Rosanne every night at midnight to allow the crap to catch up to itself. Ridiculous.
Adding insult to injury are the "mini marathons". They only show about four different shows- but they show them over and over and over. I mean, I love Andy Griffith and could watch every episode ten times in a row- but wtf?

Way back in the day their target audience might have been largely comprised of people in need of scooters. Now that they are showing "classic" TV shows from the 90's, not so much. The Scooter Store will figure it out and pull their advertising soon I think.

Yes, but I hope they don't replace it with something or other so similar that it's the same difference. For some time now, advertising has been obsessed with medical stuff (once in a while the two things meet and you get ads for E.D. pills, but that's a tiny part of the picture). And I'll say it again, I don't care how many ^*(#$! people are over what age in this country, that's still just plain unimaginative! So if something does replace endless scooter ads, please let it be something completely different!

TV Land's website IS A JOKE! Spammers frequently post on the board, and most of those who'd commiserate on how bad TV Land has become have jumped ship and seek their "Classic" TV Fix from other sources (Which are quite plentiful!).

It seems that if you want to get your TV Land Fix, you go to these stations... Antenna TV Retro TV MeTV This TV I won't be surprised that a new station like these are in the works from a big studio like WB, FOX, or Universal...and it may be a joint station too. |

I think TV Land would be awesome if they just stuck with the classics. I can't stand it when I tune in to see Roseanne and get a Hot in Cleveland marathon. Ugh, please let that show die. All of the other TV Land original sitcoms are snooze fests as well.

I've managed to stick to at least one of my hard and fast rules - I turn off anything with pop-ups, with just about no exceptions. So just as I'd turn off Andy and Barney if I saw Cougar pop-ups, I'd turn off The Cougar due to Andy and Barney pop-ups! Same difference.

TV Land going off the air? Good riddance.
Well... maybe one day. As long as TV Land keeps its direction in making new shows that are bad and keep airing classics that are bad then they're already in a coffin.

Antenna TV is more like TV Land was back in the 90's. It's got Dragnet, Adam 12,It Takes a Thief and even some rare variety shows from the early 60's!

The only time I watch the channel is in the middle of the night when I wake up and can't go back to sleep and even then I'll only watch Three's Company.
