I hate every single one of these ads. But the Wedding commercial may be the worst yet. It makes me run to the TV just to mute it.

I've always thought that if I was in a bar band, how fun it would be to throw an occasional jazzed up/rocked out commercial jingle into the set list.

As it is, I do a couple of acoustic, countrified versions of some Hendrix songs (Jimi Joe Hendrix) and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers (Tommy Joe Petty and The Shîtkickers).

Working on a few more.

I know this conversation is about a year old, but they're playing the "countrified" Skyrizi piece of crap a lot more in my area now. Here's the one making the rounds (again) in my area now:

A couple of things: first, about that creepy "dad" in the commercial. That look on his face as he starts to take off his shirt is off-putting. This tweet from last year is hilarious:

Second, the guy trying to sing country is fine, but what bugs me is the way he sings the word "hand." (I've complained about the puzzling mispronunciations in all the various Skyrizi jingle singing before). The lyric ends the line with "hand in hand" (I assume). What comes out is "hand in hay." Why does this moron have to twist hand into hay??
