'large'  in relative to what? I wish they would post numbers.

Being I live in 'Lab Rat Heaven' where everyone can earn 'up to' $750 for participating in drug trials., even *I* know you get 'drug A', or 'drug B', or a placebo ("You don't need drugs - God will fix you!")

Here is the problem with this commercial.
1st--The fine details state " in a large one year study--Ozempic or Januvia was added". It doesn't state the where or whom the study was for. It was probably done by the company so the results were fixed. Why would you put Januvia in the study and not say your drug kick the other ones ass?

2nd--You can lose weight. Can my meth dealer use the same logic? You don't see a lot of overweight meth heads.

Also, listen to the voice over actor and who long each part is worded. The shortest is about weight lose so your brain is able to process the information easier. All the other information is mumbo Jumbo.

3rd--Now they mention a two year study about no increase risk for cardio-vascular problems. Once again, the legal drug dealers don't want to give you information. You are suppose to go to their website just like going to the NRA for gun control information.

Oh that's nice.  Does that mean all the diabetes drug ads need to add another horrific side effect "You may develop a potentially deadly flesh-eating genital infection"

Right now Jardiance, Invokana, Farxiga is on the list..big offenders of recent annoying diabetes commercials.

Jesus, I rather die from diabetes!

welcome to HATE..unfortunately, as proven by Trivago Guy, Flo, Pat and Jan, 'starting a petition', calling out ad tards about how LAME and obnoxious these ads are or even having an informed opinion seems to change NADA

..or as the byline states--'you can TURN IT OFF'

Naah.  We may hate commercials.  But more than that, we may also love to hate them.  If we ever successfully petitioned a commercial, our raison d'etre would cease to exist.  Then this website would go the way of "Fat Chicks in Party Hats", the funniest website ever, now only somewhat accessible in the Wayback Machine.

Say something once in a commercial and I will probably miss it because I am not paying attention. Repeat it several times and I will thereafter automatically "tune it out".

Thanks to Wikipedia, I now know more about this band than I ever cared to.

Yeah, I Wiki'd them too.

Innarresting.

Lotsa these one-hit wonders have had otherwise pretty successful careers in the music biz.  I dunno why, but I recently looked up Albert Hammond (It Never Rains in Southern California).  Holy sh*t!!  He wrote music for a lotta big names, and some pretty big hits.  He's also put out 20-something albums of his own, though mostly in Spanish.

Later on, I'm gonna have to listen to his 1974 single "I Don't Wanna Die In an Air Disaster".

IF they even get anything and IF they still own any rights to it.

Being a true "one hit wonder" band, they may well have sold the rights to it decades ago.

OR been swindled out of any rights at the get go by a 'manager'...or maybe its gone to public domain

Yet with the amount of old crap songs that pop up in ads today..theres probably some easy cash being made..like the friggin Outfield on that detergent ad

Where did they come up with Ozempic? Huh? Did a group of advertising executives play Scrabble while on crack? 'Ozempic. Oh, that's a great name...let's use it!'

On a side note, where the hell do pharmaceutical companies get the brand names for their drugs? Granted, there are other types of products with trade names chosen for reasons that only the companies can understand. However, I can't recall a prescription drug equivalent to Head & Shoulders shampoo, Wheaties cereal, etc.

It's magic you know
Never believe it's not so
It's magic you know
Never believe it's not so
Never been awake
Never seen a day break
Leaning on my pillow in the morning
Lazy day in bed music in my head
Crazy music playing in the morning light
It's magic you know
Never believe it's not so
It's magic you know
Never believe it's not so
I love my sunny day
Dream of far away
Dreaming on my pillow in the morning
Never been awake
Never seen a day break
Leaning on my pillow in the morning light
It's magic you know
Never believe it's not so
It's magic you know
Never believe it's not so
It's magic you know
Never believe it's not so
It's magic you know
Never believe it's not so

I neither liked nor hated it. To me it was just part of the background noise. But it sure does bring back old memories.

7 days since I first saw this, I am already past annoyed with this ad.
It is constantly airing -  and now yet another ad where I can't hit "mute" fast enough.
