I've always thought the "Christmas In July," Bullsh*t was stupid, and TV execs have decided to do it again. I've seen five Christmas related shows. . It feels like f**king December already! Knock it off, TV Producers. Christmas in July is beyond stupid.

Agreed. The only time I got into the Christmas spirit is when I was buying Christmas ornaments in Hallmark with my family and Christmas music was playing. Sorry pc people I didn't say "Holiday"!

I've been thinking they should come up with another holiday for Northeast to get through the rest of winter!

Christmas in July was dumb as a concept to begin with, but these days, with so many retailers starting to put up and sell Christmas merchandise as early as August, it's flat out pointless.

It's like there's a group of people in charge of TV who have a special sub-committee or department in charge of coming up with the worst, most vile, annoying crap their evil little minds can conjure up just to punish us & satisfy their perverse, sadistic lust for causing pain.

We'll call it "Christmas in July".... Bwaaahahaha!!!!

Just be grateful that they aren't pushing Christmas in the other J month, you know, January?
My name is Donathan, pronounced the same way you pronounce Jonathan, except with a D. :D $608 for her brother's scooter. Fair is fair my ass. Being tough on Public Access TV is priceless.

Actually that would be more appropriate since theres nothing but snow, snow, snow are over the place in the Northeast it would be easier to get into the spirit. Snow=Christmas.

They do have Christmas in January, as in "Next Christmas" as in "hillbillies buying this year's leftovers for 75% off to give as gift next Christmas" Next Christmas.

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

It's beginning to look a lot like Next Christmas
Bargains galoore
Pretty soon you'll see
Maybe you and me
Trying to bust down the door

It's beginning to look a lot like Next Christmas
Soon the carolers will sing
But the most of us
Will buying stuff 30% off
Just to hear cashiers ka-ching

Sick of it too. 40 days before school begins in Yakima and already seeing Back to School ads. Expecting Halloween ads by Labor Day. Expecting Christmas by the 3rd week of September. Expecting X-Mas music in stores by November 1st. I need to enjoy my SUMMER adtards (and Hallmark)!

If they stay true to form, in about two or three weeks Dollar Tree should have some of their Halloween stuff out.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhh wait until the cold weather comes you idiots!

Well, I meant that if Erick is pissed off at TV channels airing Christmas shows in July, he should be grateful that they aren't doing it in January, as Christmas was over in December. Bringing Christmas back in January(the very next month) would be Fiendish....

So, since it's summer in Christmas in July, does that mean a half-dressed sweaty old fat guy delivers the presents?  eeewww...

LOL  Was in Hobby Lobby the other day and they already have Christmas displays set up.  Guess I'd better hurry up and buy wrapping paper before they run out 5 months from now...  LOL

Since I seldom watch "Appointment TV" I don't see to many commercials (Ironic, since the reason I stopped watching TV was because of Too Many Commercials!!) Angry However I do have a "Christmas in July Week", where I'll break out some Christmas CDs and play them, and watch some Christmas Movies, IMO it's a GREAT way to get my mind off the summer heat. There's one Christmas Tree in my house I never take down. Right now it has 14 toys under it, which I will donate to my favorite charities (Including my church) in December. A number of years ago I placed myself on the mailing lists of all the auto dealers in Volusia County, and from time to time I'll get a flyer from one of them promoting their latest sale, and I you go there they'll give you a FREE Targhee or Uncle Wally's Gift Card (Usually $5.00, but I've landed a few for $10.00, and on a couple of occaisions I've gotten one for $25.00, and once I even landed a $50.00 card!). Big smile One of the dealers know what I do with these cards, so he tells his salespeople to give me two of them. Thumbs Up On the second Sunday of December my church has it's annual toy drive, and once again I'll make sure this will not be a "Spectator Event"."Visitor? Forgot your toy? here you go, grab a toy and get in line!

PS. I just got two more flyers in the mail, so it's off to get another set of toys! LOL
