And would you (get more exercise, that is)? I'm not much of an exerciser, myself. If I get exercise in the course of doing something else, I'm fine. But to power-walk or do sit-ups or something---forget it! |

I would just try to walk and move around more. I was reading about the specific condition it sounds like I might have and it could be related to the high blood pressure I've had for several years. Apparently, if you lower your BP by going on medication or some other means, the condition can reverse itself. |

I think that's a bit more than I could handle.
The crying babies and screaming kids alone would land me in jail. |

I stay out of the store as much as possible. I hate customers, with all their needs and questions and sh*t.
But I was just noticing a young mother with three kids today. One kid was crying, one was whining and the third was telling the mother all the things she wants. I wanted to say to her "Is this all really worth it?" |

Well, no bananas this year. The lightning strike also took out 3 banana trees around the papaya tree. Really lucky this one didn't hit the house...

I'm wondering if I really broke it. It hurt and it was all black and blue for a week, but it wasn't killing me. Then again, neither was my Dx'd broken hand and foot 20 and 4 years ago respectively. |

I'm really excited, Burger King has a new breakfast sandwich. I can't find the commercial or any other info for that matter. The Farmhouse King
2 Beef Patties Bacon and a fried egg on top. I think more places should offer a burger in the morning. I'll scrape the bacon and egg off and give it to the little woman. Viola! My breakfast burger! |

Sounds awesome!!! I've tried the Croissandwich, with both bacon and sausage and they were so bland I could barely taste them. This double burger thing sounds more my speed. I just have to wait until the BOGO coupons come out!!! |

1/3rd acre total, but the strike area is only about 5x12. But no biggie on the bananas. Only get some every 3-4 years. The neighbor across the street, on the other hand, was even more cursed. He had banana trees in his yard, but hurricane Charlie dropped a tree on them. <smush> Worse, he had a big stalk of 'nanners ripening in his garage & Charlie dropped the top half of a palm tree through the roof onto them. Something about storms & bananas doesn't mix...
Might be the electrolytes...

Think of your duty to humanity - bananas are going extinct and YOU have real banana trees. You need MORE outside that 5x12 area. Can you become the banana savior? The sacred saint of morebiggerbetternanners? Need about 100 trees, thankyouverymuch doncha know.... Please be our board nannerpuss. Today? Thank You |

We hear a lot of aircraft, of all kinds, this time of the year.
We see stunt pilots practicing their sky writing skills. It's EAA AirVenture. A gathering of 10,000 planes and 500,000 people. One of the few operational B-29s is on the grounds, along with the famous Thunderbirds. The first accident happened Thursday night. A seaplane trying to take off from Winnebago hit a wave and flipped. 3 people on the plane, 2 in critical condition. |

Well...on the serious note...my younger brother, a lawyer/psychologist, will be coming up to The Estate In The Swamp, next week. It appears it is past time to get the elders a nicer, managed facility. Oh gawd, I hate even typing this as I am admitting to myself it is getting beyond me and my abilities and I DO need/want to go back to The Den for my own days, my work, and to be close to the kids that remained up there after MissyD...
I remember when my father-in-law ('Pappy') and I would walk the Fort Worth neighborhood streets late at night, smoking cigarettes with 40 oz beers, and he would tell me, "...PaW - I'm TIRED!!...I'm just tired...". He passed away not too long after we had moved to Troy, NY, back around 2001. After my brother and I set this next phase of life in motion, our folks will live comfortably together and cared for in a fashion we can trust. I now know I didn't understand what Pappy really meant when he said he was 'tired'. I do now. As I look out my window, it is grey and drizzling. Nothing going on here in the 'Third Most Boring Area In The USofA', which is either calming or depressing. My brother called to remind me of a few tasks and, because we've always been snide assholes toward each other, he finished our conversation off with, "...when we finish off Mom & Dad, we need to get to work on you right away..." How depressing...and it immediately reminded me of an artist I've always respected, but this one song always depressed me as much as all the silliness I'm currently thinking of. I think my name is 'Leroy', but I don't want another woman...I was always happy with the one who ran out of time. Maybe it's time to go get on the 'Teeter Hang-up' for 15 minutes and 'turn that frown upside-down'. |

You can't get upset with that...just like I really have no real right to be depressed. It's 'Life'. 3 1/2 of the children are currently in that mode which...just happens. I was that way once upon a time. I have one daughter who I left a message with - "...be sure the next time you're speaking to me that you aren't talking to a rock...". She claims I threw an 'unforgivable guilt trip' on her and maybe that tempered a few things as the girls never got over losing Mom and, for some weird reason, they rarely speak to me. The boys are o.k. - the AfgyLad stays in touch and the 'protected genius' a little less than I wish...it is indeed THEIR lives they need to live - I'm just an 'option', these days. Maybe I should travel more - yea, take a trip to someplace I've not been...how about sunny Poveglia Island?! |

My name is Donathan, pronounced the same way you pronounce Jonathan, except with a D.😀 Hitting on a Lesbian who speaks to you and about you like trash means you're REALLY desperate! 😀

You must have forgotten when your wife and daughter found your 'Dave' stories at the bottom of the closet and your wife made you come out of the closet. You used to tell us about your male boss you fell in love with - that you used to hide in the fruit section of the store. Now, The Inquiring Mindless NEED TO KNOW! Did you ever ask him if that was a banana in his pants or if he was just happy to see you? Did it taste like a banana, or just another penis? |
