Sucks...

I tried to watch it, I'm not laughing.

I don't know why.

His humor sucks

His charisma sucks

He uses humor only young hipsters would understand.

I'm disappointed

I'm done with The Daily Show Colbert is much much much more entertaining!

Sad.

Yeah, everything has begun to suck.

Colbert is OK on The Late Show I guess. Certainly better than the Jimmies.

But I don't know.

He's no Letterman.

And his band leader is no Paul Shaffer either.

They don't have the camaraderie Dave and Paul had.

And Baptiste doesn't have Shaffer's dry, cool wit.

Plus, Colbert's show has already taken on a bit too much of a "social justice-y" feel for my tastes. Seems like every night, one of his guests is somehow involved in something that has to do with some cause or another. Tonight, it's actress Ellen Page who is currently starring in a movie about a same sex couple trying to get married or some crap.

Yeccch.

I miss Dave and Paul.

Maybe it was just a case of first show nerves or jitters or something, but whatever it was, this dude was pretty terrible.

I only like The Late Show With Stephen Colbert for the political humor. By the time he starts interviewing people I doze off. One that really hits it out of the park though is Last Week Tonight With John Oliver he balances humor with important issues to get a serious point across.

I think Colbert relies too much on political humor.
His monologue doesn't last long enough, either.
I'm hoping the show's format will begin to evolve a little before long.
Would like to see more absurd skits and gags like Dave used to do.
Especially the stuff with the writers and with Alan Kalter.

Sorry to break it to you but he's not Dave!

I see little or no difference between The Colbert Report and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert even the chanting of "Stephen! Stephen!" Is the same!

Yes, I know. If he were, he'd be funnier.

Not saying he isn't funny, but so far the show is lacking something.

I noticed last night they finally hired an announcer.

Well, on The Colbert Report, he pretended to be a conservative pundit for the purpose of mocking conservatives.

Now he just openly mocks them as himself.

The Comedy Channel is FOS - fluff, or bubblegum for the brain. I don't watch the channel at all and I know I'm so much better off because it.

Agreed Comedy Central is craptacular everything except The Daily Show With John Stewart, The Colbert Report, Futurama, Key & Peele and South Park were the only redeeming shows!

Jeez guys, I think Trevor Noah's knocking it out of the park. Very funny with signs of a little bite. Clearly enjoying himself, no pretense. And my kids (new-voter-age) like him too. So he's doing something right, a multigenerational appeal. Maybe y'all are just outside the target demographic.

Agreed. But add on Tosh.0, Archer, and Drunk History.

I'm 34. I quite enjoyed Colbert and Stewart, I'm pretty sure the demographic didn't suddenly change. What changed was that they replaced someone funny, with someone who is not.

Probably made the decision based on certain politically correct guidelines, if you know what I mean.

Archer's not on Comedy Central, it's on FX.

Archer is on Comedy Central a few times a week. Mostly at night around 11pm, but also in the afternoon sometimes. Wink
