Like to grammar Nazi once in a while.
(Yes grammar Nazi as a verb is deliberately grammatically incorrect.)
Than is used when a comparison is involved.
The Sun is hotter than the Moon
A car is usually faster than a bicycle.
I like chocolate more than anchovies.
Then is used when referring to the order of events.
I drank bleach then I went to the hospital.
I made fun of the bully then I got beat up.
Then can also be used in a decision point. Sometimes referred to in computer programming as the If/Then statement.
If my temperature is more than 105, then it is likely I need medical attention.

Stay away from Youtube comments.
![]() I have to control my grammar Nazi tendencies. But it really bugs me when I have to translate in my head, things I read on the 'net, just to make them remotely intelligible. I hate having to struggle with people's poor grammar/spelling/punctuation. Sometimes, it's so bad that I have no idea what they're getting at, and I end up ignoring it.

How 'bout at least separating your stream-of-consciousness string of nouns and verbs and adjectives and prepositions into actual sentences? I just read one comment in another topic that I couldn't even decipher.

Or how about the #1 faux pas on most message boards: Would of, could of, should of instead of would've, could've, should've.
That one drives me absolute nuts. I see it so often, I'm nearly certain it's being taught that way in most high schools these days.
