I heard one last night for an SUV (was it Dodge? - like it matters which one). It was one more of those overwrought "appeal to men" ones, even though I have to admit it didn't use all the cliches, like "guy" this and "man" that. What it DID do was make fun of the rival vehicles for being too tame, for being "sheep in wolf's clothing," as if that were the worst thing in the world. And their new slogan is "Never In Neutral."
Never in neutral - boy, that's reassuring for anyone driving or walking anywhere near the goofy things, isn't it? I know it isn't meant literally, but jeez, if you put together that slogan and that whole "Never be a sheep" part, it shows how much they're still clutching at straws to appeal to that whole "I own the road" business. (Which, in spite of what I said at first, is used to grab as many women as men.)

LOLThat's great, Grant.
It is simply unthinkable - someone actually using 'Never in Neuteral'; I cannot remember how very many auto recalls we have all heard about because of 'cars coming to that conclusion on their own' - and it was 'never pretty'.
The OTHER bothersome issue here is what seems to becoming a problem, again (from the view of an avid bicyclist)...people seem to believe they own the road when driving 2 tons of metal and plastic against out 97%-water bodies....
