Okay people, this one has it all, a Christmas song [raped by bad singing], a fancy gadget, sure to kill the X-mas budget.
Jimbo has been saying todays tablets are as good as a laptop?? Don't let my wife see this..... |

Another Instant Mute Reflex Ad. Reminds me, unhappily, of "Gi-GAN-tic, Gi-GAN-tic"!!
Who would ever select this dreck for their very expensive, supposedly professionally produced commercial? Oh my God, none of these people can carry a tune in a bucket!

This really might be the worst commercial ever. I've been hearing it all day during football games and it's absolutely insufferable.
The offkey singing makes it even worse. I just might boycott Microsoft forever for this garbage.

I don't get it. They like make a half-assed effort to rhyme at times and they suck.
So annoying was the angle for this jingle? |

Insta-mute for me! But alas, it was too late. This damn jingle gets stuck in my head and is an hours-long earworm. I hope whoever wrote it gets pubic lice.

This damn commercial is on all the time. What's worse, while online it will come on all of a sudden and I tend to have multiple windows open/active. All of a sudden I'll be listening to my music I like and hear in the background that awful singing. I hate Christmas commercials and this one is a bottom feeder. I don't know about you but that awful voice reminds me of Carlton Your Doorman from Rhoda meets New York hack comic hocking Christmas music. At least so far this long holiday season the overall commercials are just boring and not as in your face offensive as in past years but this one has got to go! And with it popping up on your computer/smart phone is just plain sh*tty.

Then you have to listen to the lame attempt at humor at the end: "Your Surface Pro sounds pretty neat. No really. No REALLY, where can I get one? I really want one! BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH" which is really, really, really, roll-on-the-floor-for-15-minutes laugh-out-loud hilarious to the average commercial writer........... and completely NOT EVEN REMOTELY FUNNY to pretty much everyone else.

You got that right! What drugs are these people on. How about matching up the Carlton Your Doorman singer with the Apple I Phone French Canadian Hipster Hippie Chick I'm Living the Life of Dreams and imagine if they shagged and sired a kid or two. Oh the humanity. The by-product is frightening to say the least at least talent wise.

Thank you. I never want my words to be wasted and my apologies. You got to check out my latest humorous (at least to me) posts on the Crapper Apple I'm Living the Life of Dreams Thread. That one poster who lambasted us for our opinions is probably having to loosen his sweater tied around his neck when he reads what I said on that thread. The PC, One worlder hipsters will probably want my head on a plate with an apple in my mouth. Hope you enjoy my latest diatribe on that thread. (:

I totally agree that the singing is horrifying but it's the way they lyricised (is that a word?) the song that makes it so painfully awkward....like the Rob Lowe character in the DirecTv ad

This commercial, like many others, have me racing for the mute button. Why oh why oh WHY are advertisers hiring these people who can't sing to save their lives to be in their ads? Are they trying to appeal to regular ol' schmoes who aren't opera singers? At least we can be thankful for two things:
1. After Thursday, we won't be seeing this ad anymore. 2. At least it's not done by some auto-tuned pop tart or rap "star". |
