Really, what's so mind-boggling about a 200-calorie breakfast? If your dieting needs are so strict that you can't even handle 300 or so calories for breakfast, what are you doing going out to fast food for in the first place? Not to mention 200 calories probably means it's not very filling. |

Maybe they're trying to "one-up" the McDonalds commercial in which the little kiss-ass employee brings her boss a buncha breakfast stuff that's only 300 calories.
Otherwise, breakfast is probably the best time to eat higher amounts of calories.

Strange, but I can't remember ever eating breakfast when I was in my 20's & 30's.
Never felt like eating in the morning.
Nowadays, I can't imagine going to work without eating a good, filling breakfast first.

I try to eat breakfast almost every morning, but I would choose no breakfast over the disgusting crap that Subway tries to pass of as breakfast .. It could be 20 calories for all I care.

I couldn't tell you how many calories I had for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I went decades hardly ever eating breakfast. But nowadays, I do. I've heard it said that eating something in the AM jumpstarts one's metabolism. So, it actually helps a diet. Not sure if a bowl of Fruity Pebbles is what they had in mind, though.

Honestly, anyone who eats a 200 calorie breakfast is 'effin' retarded in the first place. Eating that breakfast at a pseudo-heathy place like Subway just makes them retarded sheep.I have been eating the same breakfast for a few days now (Sadly, the sunflower seeds are running low...) It's 930 calories. I get in a little less than 1/3 of my daily protein, a little under 1/2 my daily fat, and a buttload of carbs (Pure energy there, good since I walk to the college gym 1.5 miles away). And guess what, I've lost more fat and put on more muscle than I would if I pecked at a 200 calorie appetizer every morning.
I hate especially that so many people are falling prey to these silly low-fat small-meal diets, when they really do very little in comparison to simple eating. They seem to entirely forget that nutritional fat is important for hormone production (Which also includes hormones that aid in burning fat :D) and some gasp at 10 grams of fat like it's the coming of the Anti-Christ. I have a hard time getting in 75 grams of fat a day, because everything being sold is low/non-fat these days. The local grocery store even stopped selling the full-fat milk altogether.

Yes, eat a tiny breakfast and by 5pm you can be hungry enough to eat a table. That makes perfect sense.
I eat to my heart's content for breakfast, it's the most important meal for a reason. Don't go stingy with the calories!Eat breakfast like a king Lunch like a prince Dinner like a pauper You're doing it wrong, Subway. |
