I can't find the video yet, but I've seen this commercial 5 times in the last 24 hours and I want to strangle Jerry or the State Farm agent.

The commercial starts off with yet another call from Jerry to State Farm. The agent is kind enough to ask if his car is up a pole, alas this time has put his car (literally) into the side of a garage. They of course go through everything State Farm can do for you when you continuously cause this kind of havoc. This time, we end with Jerry asking for an estimate for a stone mason so the building can be repaired.

WinkThanks for bringing that one up, GOH...personally, I really *like* that one. Has a message behind the humor - and THIS time, I like the humor, although I saw no reason for a 'stone mason' (and I didn't see ANYTHING that resembled a garage).
I've been looking for the video since the first time I 'experienced' it. State Farm's Youtube channel doesn't have it up, yet (as of yesterday).

if you've got the kind of house that is made of stone and the walls are so high it resembles a fortress, I guess you have the kind of disposable income to spend on insurance deductibles and higher premiums.

Right, that line about him combining his auto and home.  Smile  Also, Jessica is really attractive.  Anyway, here it is:

Jessica's always so sweet and tries her best to humor him. I'd give that woman a raise for not hanging up on him, I'm sure it would be difficult to resist the temptation...
Please, stop saying "Awesome" in commercials! Your actors are not awe-inspiring and neither is your product.

Jessica reminds me of the girl from that online college ad. What was it...Free Edu-cation co-nec-tion. She did the first ad that wasn't TOO bad.

Might not be the same girl.

You know, that thought crossed my mind too!  Compare and contrast:

Jerry Newman is a lot less annoying in the second rendition of this ad.
No crying at least.
I guess they also figured the, You dropped us so take a hike, tone of the last one wasn't so good at inviting new business.

WinkNice catch, MM00 - I thought the same thing. He seemed a lot more 'rounded'; a more intelligent idiot. I actually like the number of subtle screw-ups in the new commercial.
Garage? I don't think I see one...looks more like a corner office.
Stone Mason? Don't think I see anything made of stone, much less stucco.
I also like "...does that mean a car with multiple accidents?"
I'd actually like to see what they come up with next, between these two...

The whole premise is ludicrous to me. Insurance companies make their money by getting rid of the Jerry Newmans out there, not by trying to coax them back as customers. If he had a pattern of auto accidents (as suggested in the first ad), Jessica wouldn't even take his phone calls, and probably would have had his policy cancelled before he ever got around to checking out Geico's rates.

Notice that Jerry is miraculously uninjured despite the rather spectacular ways he manages to crash his car.

Jerry is Half Actress half human, Haty. Luckily, he inherited the 'always leaves a crashed/burning/exploding vehicle unscathed' gene from his mother.

Actually, if his mother is Halle Berry, that'd explain his genetic disposition for curiously calamitous car crashes as well.

Hmmm, hadn't thought of it that way, Codtaro. This ad campaign seems to view everyone as dopes.

The thing that bothers me the most about the latest spot is the piss poor green screen at the very end.  Pay close attention when the car falls over.  Jerry is clearly superimposed into the shot.  And poorly at that.

Also, I am convinced Jerry is somewhat retarded.

That's cheap of them superimposing him into the shot, and clearly not hiding that fact is stupid.Unhappy
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off
