What? No mention of Sofia Vergara in "Repeat Offenders?" (I tried searching with Google, only found mentions elsewhere.) I'm sick of her "Look at me I'm so hot you know you want me" tone of voice body language.

I just talked about this in the Vergara/Pepsi thread. If she doesn't do it for ya, she doesn't do it for ya. I like her, myself. Not tired of her...yet. I'm sure that day will come, though.

See my defense of Suzi Barrett (and Pa Wolf's response to it).

With You 110%, DrD!
Not is she not funny, she doesn't strike me as the 'brightest bulb in the show'.
I find her pretentious in nature, exaggerated in appearance; I wouldn't want to wake up next to "The Shrew You Thought You Knew"; something just tells me she can be a real b*tch in the morning.
No Thanks.

I like her, too. In fact, I might've been the first to defend her here a few years ago. I posted some other video (not a commercial) in which she rants about LA.

Apparently this is her natural hair color. I know I wouldn't be disappointed to wake up next to her....(she probably would ). |

...even though she has those 'strong & high eyebrows' (same as MissyDWolf), SV still has that "Shrew You Thought You Knew"-look.
Nope nope nope!
Something just wouldn't smell right in the morning.

My beef with her is, besides her overdone accent, why does she insist on wearing clothes that look like they are two sizes too small for her? Even in that picture it looks like if she sneezed, her boobs would flop out .

The one that annoys me with her in it is the Cover Girl ad with Ellen DeGeneres also in it simply because when Ellen is making fun of the way she speaks, she uses even MORE of an accent to get Ellens' point across than "no one can understand you", but in everyplace else when she says easy Breezy Beautiful Covergirl, she has a far less extreme accent and is totally understandable. She has too many ads now, Pepsi ads where she is portrayed as a butting in selfish idiot, and I am tired of seeing her face. I could not care lerss if she IS nice on the eyes, she is too annoying and that makes up for it.

^ Instead of going to all that work, you could always see what she'll do simply for a can of Pepsi. And don't forget the straw.

She must be stopped.

I think her accent is fake, since she doesn't have it, in the older Pepsi commercial.

^ I don't think the accent's fake, but she most likely plays it up. She's been in America long enough for it to have mellowed out. Same thing with all the Brits we hear in commercials. Part of the reason they get those jobs is their accent. In fact, that's probably most of the reason.

^Exactly. Her main source of comedy comes from her accent just being silly, so she exaggerates it. It's Charo and Desi Arnez all over again.

Right. She plays it up severely. I consider that "faking" it. |

The David Beckham at the Beach Diet Pepsi ad was pretty funny and totally something I would do if there was a long line at the concession stand at the beach. Everything else was just dumb. No one wants a Diet Pepsi THAT bad!
