This commercial is so stupid I don't even know what to say.

The one thing that bugs me about it is personal pride and dignity. Why would ANYONE want to be in a commercial like this unless they were DESPERATE for cash?

I'm sorry but when I see this commercial, all I see are 2 losers who are willing to make fools out of themselves because they are dead broke.

What happened to respecting yourself?

I'd think if you're a struggling actor, you'd be happy to take whatever commercial comes along.  Maybe with enough commercial roles under your belt, you can then afford to be fussier.

I've seen the guy with the blue sweater/vest before.  Pretty corny indeed, but they pay the bills.

I kind of like it. They aren't taking their product too seriously, and more importanly than anything, they AREN'T playing "Minorities are sacred" Notice the two 'idiots' fighting over whats better are Asian and Black, whereas the sensible guy at the end is white.

I dunno, I have a weakness for snapple commercials, probably because they're one of few drink companies that still sell their stuff in glass bottles.

Yeah, but look at the juice content on the back of that glass bottle.  Usually "contains 5% fruit juice".  I've seen some as low as 2%.  Why bother putting any in?

I've been lurking here for some time and someone saved me the trouble of starting this thread.

The thing that bothered me the most about this commercial is the 'subtle racism'; at least it feels like racism. What I mean is, the lemonade which is predominantly yellow is represented by a man of Asian descent, and the tea which is predominantly brown is represented by an African-American man. Maybe I'm reading into things too much but who knows...

^HAHA, wow, even I didn't get that deep into it, but now that you mention it...

Honestly, though, at this point I RELISH some good ol' fashioned 'racism' (By Dictionary definition, this doesn't count as racism in any sense, but I suppose it's the best word to use) as a break from the other commercials where every other race is made ten times more intelligent, snootier, better, and more sacred than white people, who are generally the fool in any interracial commercial.

I suppose they could've just used a white guy dressed as white grapes, instead of the African-American as purple grapes.
