My dad said this once when my mom was teasing him for coffee...but yes, their commercials are too monotonus! LOOK!...

This was the same damn commercial that they had for...EVER!
Thank God for kids who love Obscure Things.

Mother walks into the kitchen, where her teenaged son is packing for school. She grabs a ziploc bag filled with white powder.

"Oh, that's sugar for school. They just have the artificial stuff there. I've started drinking tea," her son mumbles awkwardly.

"Well, good for you, honey. I'm just going to borrow some for my coffee."

"Mom, DON'T!"

She laughs and tells him not to be greedy. As she pours it into the coffee pot, so her friends can all enjoy it, he just stares in horrified shock.

I think that's how it happened, donathan.

Wow! I have yet to see this one. I wonder how many ziplocks full of "white powder" the ad writers went through to come up with that? I would bet the kid is also "packing" at school. Do you think Mom and friends will be repeat customers now? Seriously, a sad reality of todays schoolchildren.

Oooh how cute! Folgers is trying to be current and relevant with the whole Zumba craze. How edgy! "I can relate!", says a 36 year old mom of 3! Folgers is gross. It is sour and muddy tasting and quite expensive actually! It rivals whole bean coffee in price, and there are better big name ground coffees out there. Yuban for one, is still pretty good for run of the mill drip. I live in Portland though so good artisan coffee is kind of at my fingertips

I got a really good cup of coffee at a local RaceTrack gas & convenience store the other day.

I'm serious. Rivaled Starbucks anyway, whatever that's worth.

Got it free, too. They sent out coupons all over the place.

Free any size cup of coffee & breakfast sandwich. Free any size cup of coffee & donut. Two are just for free coffee.

Good thru March 5th.

Don't let a suitcase filled with cheese be your big fork & spoon.

Close to very town, I guarantee, has at least one good, local coffee place. Seek them out. Because even if don't drink coffee, the same care they put in coffee will most likely placed in alternative beverages they have on hand. I drink corporate giant coffee, and I drink local stuff. I am blessed to live amidst good beer and coffee varieties but even when I am abroad, I can usually find a good spot.
