ConfusedKellogg's simply HAD to see this coming....

~~~
Another case of 'stop, drop, & drool at the table' - yea, just saw this.
The look on both  'Mom-to-be's'  and 'little Mr. soon-to-be-Innocence-Lost's' faces are simply priceless.
The question remains...did Kellogg's clip the last 15 seconds of the commrcial where 'Mom' told the story about the judgemental slip with those three short dudes, during that 'Friday Ladies' Night On The Town'?
Yes, Rice Krispies will make your kids forget about why you have a person in your belly and how they got there. Maybe it's soon time to teach them about the birds and the bees?
I'd say "wait until you're 18, then I'll tell you"
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off
Except, By 18 they've already given some girl the baby in the belly and popped it out.
There is always the classic "Go ask your mom (or dad)" response.
My 4-year-old niece asked me almost the same question the other day. "How does the baby get in there?" I just said "I don't know." Thank God I am not a parent.
^I'd just say, "a man and woman sleep together"
There was a hilarious bit in "The Nanny" where the youngest girl, Gracie, and her male playdate had taken a nap together, then overhear Frant on the phone, talking about two soap characters, "They slept together, and now she's late."
Gracie assumes that since they overslept and were late their airing of "The Lion King", she's pregnant.
Then we see the kids going through these hilarious enactments of "expecting parents" etc., until everything is explained to them (At which point the boy promptly flees)
I'm sick of this generation's puritanical ideals about not being allowed to advertise cereal directly to children. If only the "sugar Nazi" soccer moms had not ultimately won in the 90s
From this commercial to the new stupid CTC ad yelling "Hey Ladies!" for no reason, the new "adult" cereal ads are just getting dumber.
Just bring back the goddamn mascot commercials already - about time we saw the Rice Krispies elves and Wendell back on the television.
I can't stand this commercial, and I fail to see why they think some pregnant woman and her inquisitive child are going to make me want to buy Rice Krispies!
