I was in my grocery store Friday and they were already pushing out the Halloween stuff and putting up the Christmas stuff. F thanksgiving, as usual, but still plugging those free turkeys if you spend about 20,000 between now and Thanksgiving ------------- The artist formerly known as Madawee |

It's been like this for years, now. They skip over Thanksgiving for the most part because how do you commercialize Thanksgiving? Grocery stores and perhaps airlines can, but it's not like people go out to buy "Turkey Day Presents". ------------- No Good Deed Goes Unpunished |

There's a long stretch from Mother's Day to Halloween without any commercial holidays (Father's Day is barely commercial). But holidays aren't needed when we have "Summer Vacation Time" and "Back to School" to take our $. |

Every year it's some company staking its claim to "First!!!" They were starting Duluth clothing ads with Christmas music a week before Halloween.
