TV Tubes?


When the drug store had bulk candy to sell?

I remember my dad messing with those things. Going to the hardware section of the store and testing those tubes trying find out if one was bad.

To this day I don't really know what their function or purpose was.

I suppose I could Google it but, why?

Maybe someday I will.

Or... one of you guys could do it for me then report your findings.

I used to love to try and fix old TV sets. In the days of Vacuum tubes soon to be replaced by Solid-State technology. Diodes, transistors, integrated circuits.

And this old memory! I was on top of the world! A teenager dating an older woman!  She rocked my world.  The weird thing is...My older sister and I dated a brother and sister.  My sister is still with him.
