Why?

I guess they want to fit in MORE commercials!

The opening credits are the most ICONIC part of the show, it's a waste to skip them!

I've seen two TV channels who do this Antenna TV and TNT's airing of Law & Order!

I see this on TBS reruns of Friends. Greedy idiots, cutting out the opening credits for another minute of commercials. I rarely watch TBS anymore. They were so much better in the '90s (and the '80s) in their Superstation days. There is no comparison. A great movie every night at 8:05 Eastern, lots of sitcom reruns, Braves baseball and cartoons.

Yup, those were the glory days of TBS..................
