Between Louisville, Kentucky and Evansville, Indiana lies the town of Santa Claus, Indiana. This town is home to Holiday World and Splashin Safari, IMO the Best Amusement Park on this planet. Unlike a lot of today's Amusement Parks, this park charges nothing for parking and $41.00 (online or $45.00 at the gate for General Admission. The park is divided up into six areas, the first is Christmas, as you go through this section Christmas Music is heard throughout this plaza, which has several shops and eateries. Next is Halloween, which has several rides and a craft shop, Appropriately Themed Music (Such as Werewolves of London can be heard here. It is also home to two wooden Roller Coasters, The Raven and The Legend (More about these later). Next is The Fourth of July, which has a patriotic theme to it. Ragtime and Jazz are heard in this section of the park.Next is Holidog Plaza, which is home to several kids rides and a small coaster, called Holidog's Coaster. Next is their waterslide complex, called Splashin Safari. which is home to just about every water ride you can imagine. Didn't bring sunscreen? Relax, it's FREE at this park, several dispensers are found throughout the park. Finally is Thanksgiving, which is home to their newest Roller Coaster, Thunderbird as well as another Wooden Roller Coaster, The Voyage In this section is a buffet where its Thanksgiving throughout the season, Turkey with all the trimmings for $15.00. (Soft Drinks are also FREE, with dispensers throughout the park).

This park is an @$$ Kicker! Their newest Roller Coaster, Thunderbird made it to No. Four in my Steel Looping List. As for the other full-size Roller Coasters The Raven is my Number Two Wood Out & Back, The Legend is my No. ONE Wood Twister and The Voyage is my No. ONE Wood Out & Back and my No. ONE of All No. Ones! No other rides come as close as these three @$$ Kickers. Combine this with a very friendly staff, and delicious food (Aklthough their food is just as expensive as any other major park this park serves it to you in GENEROUS portions. And Soft Drinks are FREE, so you won't end up paying $50.00 onj beverages when it's in the 90s or higher. If you are in Indiana (Or its neighboring states for that manner) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you visit this gem of an amusement poark. Give yourself three days toi enjoy this park, and I guarantee you will be DRAGGING yourself out of this park at the end of each day (The park is THAT GOOD). Thumbs Up

Poiuyt Power!!!
