Grandma "squirting" her ketchup bottle is the only redeeming part of this commercial about ketchup.

I saw it as a bit of a 'throwback' with a squirt. An inappropriate squirt - but a cute one.

February? I had no idea this commercial had been around that long. I saw it for the first time a few days ago, and it was hate at first sight (and especially hate at first listen). Were it not for the ear-raping humming of a baby children's tune, this one might have been tolerable. I'd almost have rather had one of those quirky Colbie Caillat/Ingrid Michaelson wannabe hipster female singers warbling "If You're Happy And You Know It" than this. Instant mute button fodder.

People put ketchup on hot dogs???? Is that not a felony?

I put ketchup on hot dogs! Usually, both mustard and ketchup, but sometimes just mustard. And if I have it, sauerkraut.

A felony? I thought ketchup along with mustard was a fairly standard hotdog condiment.

Usually with anything else available, but aways mixed with tobasco.

K....not yr fault, U live in CA. Kidding. But, I mean it, I was raised to never do that; law is, only mustard (gotta be basic yellow), then such as sauerkraut, some do relish, etc. I took informal poll among friends, same deal. Interesting, right?
I think anyone attending either a home Yankees game or home Mets game is ejected from the park if they use ketchup. In fact, at local ballparks, ketchup is a banned substance! In FACT, all those entering the ballparks are wanded with a ketchup detector.
Pretty sure.

Ew...yellow mustard...bleaugh.
I like my mustard to be brown and thick, the way it was intended to be. :)
Sauerkraut is nice sometimes.
Personally, I'm more the type to put some veg on there and forgo any dressing whatsoever.
http://www.monkeysee.com/play/19719-regional-hot-dogs-nyc-vs-chicago-recipes" rel="nofollow - New Yorkers eat more hot dogs than any other group in the

People who put ketchup on hot dogs (or kielbasa) are demented. They have some kind of shorted out circuitry inside their brains.
Ketchup is good for two things... hamburgers & French fries/tater tots.
Period.
Hot dogs scream & beg for MUSTARD!!!
Put anything else (except ketchup) that you want on a hot dog, but mustard MUST be on there too.
That's how it got it's name... must-ard.
Because it MUST be on a hot dog, or else you're a retARD.

Empirical data?
My point is that, how is added sucrose any different to the sucrose already present in the Tomato? The only major thing is that refined sugars have been stripped of other nutrients so that all that remains is the sucrose; in fact, plenty of studies suggest it's the micro-nutrient deficiencies that cause problems more than anything to do with carbs.

First part: it's a matter of DEGREE. Re second part: I know of no such studies; it's not carbs, it's REFINED carbs which comprise The Enemy. Glycemic fostering foods which wreak havoc with the endocrine system (all systems) and entire organism and provide no actual nutrition. But, most Western humans are raised with such, and our palates are actually corrupted. I include myself, but I am way better than once.....tho have long way to go.

Ketchup has added sugar in it.
Hunts probably more so than Heinz.
You can taste the difference between the two.
Hunts is very sweet tasting, while Heinz is tart & vinegary tasting.
