Guess what, Vicks? I like to eat dinner while I watch TV. Now I have to see hairy, fat people passed out, snoring with their mouths open, dripping spit out of their gaping pie holes while I'm trying to enjoy my spaghetti?
Thanks for the loss of appetite, NyQuil. |

The big guy looks sorta like a beached whale, no wonder he's sleeping alone.

All routing and shouting and giving the yell,
Like so many demons just raised up from hell, The boys they were drunken on powder and wine, They came to burn Lawrence just over the line. |

Even worse, they have a separate ad for each person in this one, so we get to look at them all even longer and from different angles.

I hate the commercial too, but I forgive it because NYQUIL IS THE BEST MEDICINE EVER.

The fat guy has drool trapped in his facial hair...not in the video above, but in the one that features just him.

I don't know if it actually works but it knocks you into a coma until you feel human again so it gets my vote |

Be nice if the product name was in the subject line because this one's a bit obscure. I first saw all these fugly NYQUIL people in print ads with their mouths open, etc.
May be true to life but FUGLY people don't sell me a product. Nyquil is basically BOOZE. so--gimmee a good shot of something in some tea, and I'll pass out like Amy![]() |

O.K. 'Geniuses'...ANY doctor worth his 'salt' will probably inform you that you ALL need to perform a little more research...
I'll use 'simple words'.
(oh, f'yes - of course I know what I'm talking about)
NYQUIL is NOT good for you.
Period.
Take the time to research the product...

I don't have to. Name one OTC or prescription drug that doesn't come with a list of warnings as long as your arm. They ALL could have side effects. ![]() |

Oh yeah... Nyquil is horrible for you. But when I am in bed with a 103 fever, I don't give a crap. I want to be knocked out.

I hate this one too!!! I can't stand hearing people snore or seeing people "asleep" drooling with their mouths open. The fat hairy guy is the worst.

Has there actually been any new drugs in the over the counter cough/cold/decongestant market for the past 25 years? The old Dextromethorphan, Guaifenesin, and Pseudoephedrine based stuff has been on the market for ages, but the ads make is sound like there has been some new ingredient in their latest formulation. Mucinex and Delsym are the worst offenders, because taking both drugs is no different than taking any generic cough syrup and they are both massively overpriced. The best ingredient to get over the pain, suffering, and sleepless nights is codine, but thats not an option in the United States.
I hate buying cold medicines because the active ingredients are hidden on the back of the box, and some tricky drug makers will call them by a slightly different chemical names. You can easily overdose if you take two different cold products that contain the same active ingredient. At least the FDA is going to crack down on cold remedies spiked with acetominophen so people won't damage their livers. |
