I remember there was a big outcry cause they cast a black actor as Thor.  I didn't see that in the preview...Thor looked pretty white-bread to me.

The uproar over the black actor is that one is playing Heimdall, one of the sons of Odin. The people complaining is this weird white supremacy group that masks itself as a conservative group.
