Motorola unveils its Android tablet in a huge way.
A man is seen using his tablet (similar to an iPad) among a flock of white-clad mindless worker drones.

My jaw dropped when I realized who those drones were supposed to be.

(Video will be available a few minutes after the ad airs)

From Motorola:
Created by Anomaly New York, the ad entitled "Empower the People" is set in an Orwellian, 1984-esque world where technology -- and people -- are limited by restrictive platforms. Enter Motorola XOOM - the tablet to create a better world - and a new day with optimism, openness, freedom and empowerment.

This one is brilliant- from the guy reading '1984' on his tablet, to the worker drones all with their white ear buds, the target of the digs is clear. Whether the Xoom will pose a real threat to the iPad remains to be seen, but this ingenious spot should give Apple something to think about.
