ShockedCryDammitdammitdammit!!! We JUST went shopping and grabbed a big ol'jug of Miracle Whip - then THIS commercial shows up. All kinds of very bad imagery came to mind...

DeadI'm ready to chuck the jug as far as I can out into the widerness...but MissyD wants 'to party'...lemme see, even more 'bad' imagery comes to mind...Evil Smile...time to get out the plastic floor cover...

Are they trying to make this product young and hip and something that's text-ready?  'Cuz I'm sure all the 15 year-olds out there are going to be texting their friends about the great sandwich they had for lunch.  "It had MW on it, dude".

I don't care how "cool" or "hip" they're trying to make MW, it still TASTES bad to me. I only do mayo sauces mixed with tuna when I make a sandwich. MW is too tangy and sweet. I want to taste the umami savory-ness that I get from normal mayo, not mayo's ass hole cousin that shows up and ruins Christmas every year...because that's what the "cool" condiments do right?
It's ok, I'm in marketing!

Yeah, Miracle Whip is pushy. It's like some background singer that just pushes the lead singer that is the ham or turkey out the way and goes Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhyeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh and you want her to shut up and let you enjoy the ham and or turkey.

Too true! Back when I was younger, my mom used to put Miracle Whip on my sandwiches. I thought she was putting sugar in the mayo. :P

I hate Miracle Whip too because of its sweetness. In fact, most dressings and condiments from Kraft foods I find are too sweet also. I can't stand their overly sweet ranch dressing, nasty!

I realize, the term I was looking for is stylized.  The stylized MW.

They recently remodeled our local McDonalds from the old 1970s Bicentennial look to now what looks like looking at an internet ad.  The McDonalds name now has this weird stylized french fry over it.  Like a yellow eyebrow now.

I suppose I should have realized a lot sooner that this was a parody.

I didn't catch on until the tag line at the end.  I was like, why would they have a guy in the commercial saying he wanted mayonaise? duh  Embarrassed

Yuck. I can't stand this commercial. It makes me feel physically sick when he's talking and smacking, and there's that little smudge of miracle whip on the side of his mouth. *shudders* All kinds of gross!
Darkness follows as the siren sings.

I grew up with a Miracle Whip Mom. When I left home at the age of 18 I discovered mayonaise. The 1 time per year when I crave a bologna sandwich it has to have MW.

I wonder why its called miracle whip.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

All Miracle Whip commercials should include an explicit  warning that it is not a type of mayonaise.  I remember, years ago buying a jar, thinking that it was mayo and spitting out the first bite of a perfectly good turkey sandwich.  The stuff is vile.  I wonder how many sandwiches have been ruined over the years by people who made the same mistake.
