Movie preview.
Looks like another comedy movie remake of a TV show that wasn't supposed to be funny.



Also please note the distinctly unfinished-looking chroma key (green screen) shot at the end.
I thought the camera would pull back to reveal Will Ferrell standing in front of a television.
It doesn't look even remotely well done.
I say this as someone who's been doing chroma key for the last year!

WTF was this movie supposed to be about? I just saw the preview. NEVER MIND I read the synopsis.

I thought to myself, wasn't this the same old wierd arsed show I watched as a kid,,, just cause it was one of the last kiddy shows in the Saturday morning lineup...what else they gonna drudge up yet?  They did Scooby-Doo, the Jetsons, The Flintstones, Popeye, George of the Jungle, the Pussycats, (did they do the Archies?hmmm), Superman, Spiderman, (did they do Aqua man or is that in the works?). Underdog, (geesh might as well do Mighty Mouse), what they need to do is my favorite upon all favorites  GIGANTOR

oh my gawd, they got to be kidding....oh my...and to think just a few weeks ago I was humming that lame tune from HR Puffenstuf and my b/f was asking me what that was and all I could say was a really wierd childrens program..did not even go into the details...

Remember the McDonald land people? It was a much more indepth in universe with storylines and characters.
Sid and Marty Krofft sued for infringement as they said the characters were too much like HR Pufnstuf.

So the professor and the pirate were phased out and the others like Big Mac and Mayor McCheese just made small cameos and were part of the merchandising.
Grimace survived the purge oddly enough.
