Yes, I know there's a thread about this on the forum from last year, but they have a new ad out, and it deserves its own, new post.  I can't find the new ad on Youtube, so a picture of the deformed and weird looking 'design' by Kay Jewelers and Jane Seymour is below.

This is one product that I wish would just go away.  I would find it hard to believe that many women would want such a commercialized and bastardized piece of jewelery (over much more expensive and 'unique' designs, of course.)  I am also willing to bet that Kay paid Seymour to pretend she came up with the design so her name would carry the product to top sales.
Welcome to Commercial Land. This is a magical place where all women look up while eating, and it is perfectly acceptable to slurp the hell out of a Dannon yogurt cup.

This product is such overindulgent crap from Jane Seymour. Anyone else notice the design is a backward 'S'?

Jane's a very talented artist.  I think she  could have come up with something a little better than this thing.  I have no doubts that it was her design idea=="the open heart".  Doesn't make me want to buy it but I bet people who watch dvds of "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" will.  LOL

She good at those "open hearts," I think she's had about 4 of them (husbands), and I wonder if they had "open pockets" as well.  I know, I'm so crass...

It's nothing special.  Looks like a piece of chrome.  Makes me think of swans, not hearts.

Thor - that was the cheapest version.
They come soaked in diamonds.

Not including King Henry VIII.  But in that marriage her neck was saved!  Hence the design!  And just in case someone doesn't know what I'm talking about......http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Seymour LOL

A while back Conan and Job from Arrested Development (will arnett) did a hilarious bit making fun of this retarded lookin shape.  The tag line of "my mom said to keep ur heart open" is the most asinine sh*t I've ever heard.

This stuff is full of crap.  "If you leave your heart open love will always find its way in"

Yeah Jane, if you leave your skirt up love will also always find its way in.

This society is hilarious.  A guy should have to drop $2000+ on a ring or necklace just to prove to somebody that you are worthy and you care about them?

The whole concept of "Man find woman.  Man impress woman.  Man bring woman home.  Man give woman shiny object/credit card.  Man buy minivan.  Man work nonstop and then die." thing is pretty terrible outlook on life.

These same companies are making bank on valentines day and other manufactured holidays.

That is really ugly. Where could you wear that necklace with? The shape is bulky and lopsided. It just doesn't look elegant. If you want to buy overpriced generic jewelry, at least get a flattering design.
Please, stop saying "Awesome" in commercials! Your actors are not awe-inspiring and neither is your product.

Yeah, my wife's first reaction already last year was "boobs and butt!" Practically everything that's been said on this post is something my wife already commented about that disgusting object. This is one piece of jewelry that needs to die a quick death! The only word that comes to mind for their commercials is "pretentious!" Thumbs Down
