It Must Have Been a Moron -a Moron -a Moron...

I am, of course, referring to the latest attempt at deterring our nation's youth from the dark debauchery-filled world of tobacco use. "It must have been a typo, a typo, a typo..." Whoever decided that it would be a good idea for two youngsters talking about the death rates of tobacco users to suddenly break into song and dance should have their head examined. I'm starting to think that this is the strategy the truly uncreative advertising agent uses once they have exhausted all ideas on where to go with a commercial..."What could these two kids do next to grab the viewer's attention...WAIT!!! I'VE GOT IT!! Have them break into song and dance!! That'll surely grab everybody's attention!!" ...Idiot . Yep. It grabbed my attention all right. So much so, that every time i hear this piece of crap commercial I can't hit my mute button fast enough. Many commercials hurt the eyes....this one freakin' tortures my ears. Even if i'm not watching my television, as long as i'm within audio range i'm susceptible to the effects of this steamy pile of advertising crap... god I need a cigarette.
