...for every time I hear the Citgo "If I had a nickel" ad, I'd have more toleration for it.  But it gets old and stale quick, like the expired donuts that roll underneath their counter and aren't found until the rats stagger out holding a paw to their throats and beg for a Heimlich maneuver....

If I had a nickel
I'd spend it in the morning
I'd spend it in the evening
All over this land
I'd spend it on danger
I'd spend it on a warning
I'd spend it on love between
My brothers and my sisters ah-aaah
All over this land!!!

Great news guys.... With the Air Hawk, flat balls are no longer a problem!!!

I'm old enough to remember when Citgo was called Cities Service Gasoline.  Here's Ed McMahon and Barbara Walters talking 'bout the name change:

I also remember Flying A, Phillips 66, Gulf, Sunoco, Amoco and Sinclair.  Sigh.

We have Phillips 66 so far only one in West Hartford, Gulf is still around here, and Sunoco is abundant over here, I remember Amoco with the cool torch signage they were absorbed by BP GRRRRR.Angry

I remember growing up with Texaco they were everywhere, now I don't see them anymore.

What I dearly miss was having a Union/Unocal 76 truck stop in Plantsville,CT it still sucks that Travel Centers of America took them over. It really boringified the place.

I still remember Getty they're now being taken over by Luckoil and the rest was sold to BP GRRRRR.

I hate BP.Angry

Didn't they have a dinosaur as their logo on the sign? Mr. Hoot sir. Talk about back to basics. A random rock hits in the Yucatan 65 million years ago and kills 90 some % of all living things. Thus created our very limited supply of oil based products.

Yep that's the one. Pixar Animation chose to make a parody of it called Dinoco which also has a dinosaur in their logo.
