I'm sick of seeing the lying whores (both male & female) who get hired by these shyster, get-rich-quick-scheme pushers to sit in front of a camera & lie their asses off about how much money they supposedly made, when anyone with a grain of intelligence knows damn good & well it's all bullsh*t.

But sadly, of course, there are too many who believe their crap & invest their hard earned money in whatever scam they're running.

Meanwhile, I made a million dollars an hour with this one-of-a-kind offer!!!!!

So ACT NOW!!!!!!!

If I act now, didn't I need to go to "this web address" (seems to change every time I see the commercial)? Will I be crazy like a fox?

Is this one of those ads that has a number in the web address?     Sounds like a scam.

Would anybody trust a website called "54.forums.commercialsihate.com"?   LOL

Some guy on one of those financial shows said that if it sounds too good to be true, it is.  If some ad says "you can earn $5,000/week working a few hours at home", don't believe it.  He said there are legitimate companies that advertise making money by working at home, but they won't say they'll pay $20,000 per month.

Also, he said not to believe any company that wants you to stuff envelopes.  Stuffing envelopes is done mechanically and cheaply these days.

A very old truth.

We live in the land of the free. We're pretty much free to take each other's dollars if we're silly enough to fall for simpleton scams. It takes a long time to recover through the Court System. The whole while, the victims remain screwed, upset, and hungry - possibly suffering some form of personal negative economic 'domino' effect because of the lengthy legal process.

Anyway, anyone remotely THINKING about going into this type of work would be well-advised to take a moment for some 'Dry Reading' - maybe it will help;

Anyway, simple searches around the Fed's website and other business websites will reveal some rather interesting information. Basically, most - but NOT ALL 'work from home' "opportunities"  are less than honorable.

Yeah, that is an old saying, Thor. I've heard it often.

A lot of these work at home schemes involve assembling little trinkets & knick knacks, etc. The way the scam works, is that they get you to pay for the "material kit" up front, with the promise that they'll pay you X amount per completed unit, which will result in a nice profit after you sell all the completed units back to them. But, after you get them all assembled, they reject them all for petty, nit-picky little made up reasons, claiming that you didn't do this or that well enough to meet their "high quality standards". So in effect, you bought a bunch of useless crap that they paid a fraction of what you paid them & now you're stuck with it & they made their profit off of you.

There are companies that still use human labor to stuff envelopes, but it's likely never done at home. Mass mailing companies will employ people to sit & put brochures & other advertising materials, cover letters & other printed materials in envelopes & then stick address labels on them, but it's just a monotonous hourly job that you have to go to their location to do. These companioes usually use temps, too.

They're preying on people suffering from the economy...trying to get them when they're down and susceptible.

Same thing with all the credit card debt services being offered on TV.  Seems there's a helluva lot of this sort of commercial these days.

Ask youself why would you, if you had a magic formula that earned $5,000 a month, ever teach anyone else how you do it for such a small fee.  That would be like Henry Ford teaching the Dodge brothers how to make a Model T.

I suppose it could be rationalized that, if someone did have a fantastic way to make easy money with very little time & effort involved, they could make even MORE money by selling people the secret of how to do it. IOW, if you've come up with some way of making $120,000 a year, why not sell the secret of your methods nationwide & make ten times that much?

Of course, the rub is that such money making opportunities almost never really exist, & the so-called "secret" turns out to be nothing more than some generalized instructions to go out & do things that are much easier said than done.

What they don't tell you (or sometimes do and most people don't understand) is that sure, you can make 50,000 dollars a month in GROSS REVENUE. If we're talking a work from home type business where you sell things, if you paid 49,900 dollars for your product you only net 100 dollars. This is a simple concept and yet so sooo hard to wrap your head around apparently.

One of the great but sad truths in life, is that a lot of people want to be told only what they want to hear.

"You can have x if you only do y."

And equally as sad, is that there are always people around willing to accomodate them.... usually for something in return.

The Republican Party being a perfect example of this... LOL

What really makes me wonder about these ads is how come they still have employees? I mean why would some guy be breaking his back in a warehouse packing boxes of this crap when he could just sell it himself and make 50 grand a month?
