See this ad like 10 times a day. Is that Jackie Onassis look alike supposed to denote richness? And after putting it in their mouth, why don't any of the woman chew? They just smile. "We know it can be a texture thing." No, it's a taste thing. Does anyone actually like cottage cheese? Last time I tried it decades ago, all I remember is it had no taste at all.

My mom used to serve us canned pears with cottage cheese on top, it is an amazing taste combination.

Dairy products here with the exception of some hard cheeses are typically from local dairies. The exception is store brands which are still produced locally.

Pear and peach halves. They were also served in school cafeterias. I sometimes add diced tomatoes and a minimum of cracked black pepper. Plain cottage cheese is very bland.

LOLLOLLOL

With my limited caption and photoshop skills, it would take me a month to do that!  Thumbs Up

And when I hear the word 'hood', I don't think of neighbors or sweatshirts.  Tongue  Yes, that's all I think about and it's a burden.  Evil Smile

If you sprinkle some spices on cottage cheese, like Old Bay or celery salt, it tastes better.  But I like the fresh taste of cottage cheese.  We have Knudsen's here and it's the best, better than the store brand or Lucerne.

That's because it's made with milk from stoned California cows....

One minor correction:

It's "skrawberries", not "strawberries".

In the GreatWhiteNorth, we have BISON Cottage Cheese with Chives...at $2.50 a tub, I don't share and it only lasts one sitting - usually breakfast.
