MissyDWolf HATES the Steelers; I've now got a basket case on my hands, dammit!
I warned her! When the Cards took the lead, all I could see was 11 p.o.'d Brothers from Pittsburgh on the other side; from there on out, the Cardinals have looked like they are 'Skipping and Prancing through the Ghetto'; they certainly were gonna get their butts kicked (at least) without any KY...
It was a great game.

My son was getting worried there towards the end.
He decided that he wanted the steelers to win. Boring ending it was not. |

The 12 minutes represent the actual length of any non-Super Bowl NFL game.
The halftime lasted at least 20 minutes, actual time. The trouble is, they need all those extra minutes to set up the stage, get all those

< Can you do that? >
Never tried. It would never have occurred to me to make the attempt. One of the side effects of having too much money, and having to come up with gimmicks to keep the customers coming back for more, I would imagine. I'm sure he can afford to buy hundreds of new guitars out of pocket change, if he happens to lose a strap and the guitar goes flying away. Hope it doesn't bean a band member or a fan. I own several musical instruments. I take exquisite care of them, as I paid more for each of them than I could really afford at the time. One of my violins was my grandfather's, my viola was my mother's. I don't own or play guitar, but I rather doubt that if I did, that I would swing it on a strap, or smash it against the amp, or other stunts. Personally, I prefer the music of David Gilmour and Pink Floyd, but they aren't exactly what I think of as Halftime entertainment for a football game. One of the benefits of HD TV, is the small details you can see now, that are invisible with SD. When Springsteen was swinging his axe, the backside of the instrument was exposed to the camera, and I could see where the varnish had been rubbed off the back from hanging againt his hip and leg. |

LOL Oh I've swung MANY guitars on a strap!! LOL That's what Strap locks are for!! LOL I remember one time, a friend asked me to fill in for his bass player who'd had a car wreck, and they had a big gig. I didn't have a bass cause I'm a guitarist, but I used the injured guy's rig. He played a B.C. Rich Warlock, which is a heavy as hell bass. I swung that damned thing around back wards, and I didn't factor in that it was heavier and longer, so I didn't swing it hard enough, .....Man I popped myself in the back of the head and damn near knocked my ass out!!! ROFLMAO!!!! I mean I KNEW it was different size and weight wise, BUT since I was in the heat of the moment I just did it!!

Oh, Lord. That was 2004! Five years ago! I would've guessed it was two years ago---three at most. Jeez, time's going too fast these days.

Getting to be somewhat like having all the oxygen sucked right out of the atmosphere, isn't it, WS? Was one of those events that simply wasn't supposed to happen - hope it wasn't INTENTIONAL; if so, maybe there is a local 'under penalty of death ordinance', in your county. If not, maybe you can call an emergency town council meeting to be held at your local Wendy's, and institute one - effective immediately.
Then you can go punish the perpetrator as soon as you sorta figure ya got him. If you're wrong, I bet there is another a**hole around that could help stretch some rope...let me know if the raiders require assistance; I like TN in the winter!

I don't know about anywhere else but here in the `burgh we sure had a lot of local commercials during this Superbowl. I heard somewhere it was because they couldn't fill all the ad slots at 3 million a pop so they had to stuff it with local ads.

Bruce S. is pretty hot for an old guy... I missed most of the ads, because I was serving food for my party, and missed most of the game too. I'm an Arizona native, so you can tell who I was rooting for. LOVED the last quarter (which is the only one I really got to see). Missed you guys, though!

LOL Wrong thing to offer me PA!!!! LOL From what I am understanding, it was intentional. Probably some dumbassed TEEN with an idiot complex, trying to look cool in front of his friends. BUT if it was a stupid ass kid, he'll brag about it, and as many folks pissed off as we were around here, the word WILL get around. I'll keep you guys posted on this!!!
I got to see the opening touchdown, but not the extra point. Did the Cards challenge that TD?? It looked sorta "IFy?"

Hello Folks,
Brand new member as of today. Thank you Nathan! Been a long time fan of ads and commercials, glad I found a community I can fit into.
Just wanted to bring up the topic of the two amateur commerical makers of the winning Dorrito's commerical. I was talking on the phone with my b/f giving him the blow by blow scoop of the commercial I just witnessed when wham the crystal ball (snowglobe) goes flying into the boss's nether regions...could not believe it...laughed so hard. Congrats to those two guys for their production!!! Better than some of the ad companies these days... Good on them!!!!

With the millions of $$$ Geico spends every year advertising, I wonder why they didn't take a commercial spot. They could have introduced Ms. Caveperson........or something.

Remove the &NR=1 from your tube tag. I don't have mod priv's in this section.
You know I'd have fixed it already, if I could
