Confused...sorry for the LATE annual 'Valentine's Day Wishes'...I've been busy!
I mean it ladies (forget it, guys - I ain't about to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day - we're not in second grade anymore).
Anyway...yuppers! It's time for the official overly-long, yet long-anticipated  'PaWolf Valentine's Day Message'.

~~~Preamble~~~
'tis Valentine's Day, once again...let's talk about it...let's talk about "what YOU did for YOUR Vaelentine"...
Here's *MY* 2012 example for this 'Sweetest of Days':
Big smile*I* got MissyDWolf a real purty red rose and a potato. Not just ANY potato, no - a FROZEN potato. Didn't get her a card 'cause they just don't taste that good - however, the rose smells really nice, doncha know, and, well...it is firm on the bottom and not fully open - it will last a while.
I got her a few other treats, fixed ger a nifty neat dinner (with that there frozen potato, mind you) and put her down for the evening...so here I am as she snoozes, all snuggled up and comfy. She's SO happy and simply had the most precious Valentine's Day, cancha tell!
I also got her three (3) Molson's Ice Beers...guess I keep forgetting she never has liked beer, and, well...since I cannot return them, I guess I'm stuck with them.
~~~romance~~~
"...knowing what you know now, should we have to live this life all over again, would you do it with me?..."
(hysterical laughter and choking)"NO F'KING WAY, PaW!!!..."
MissyDWolf has a way with words, doncha know.

~~~Now...on to the 2012 message~~~
Happy Valentine's Day to all our CIH Ladies - and for the Gents - the same goes out to your Wives.
Being basically 'cheap' I figured it would be easier to re-post/reuse an old Valentine's thread. I still believe basically the same ol'stuff and I still make *most* of the same mistakes. So, looking toward the future,  things are not always the same - sometimes we men actually learn and improve (well...most of us).
Cool, eh?
I really dunno - maybe so, as long as your Valentine believes that line of sh*t.
Now...
Let's start with a 'look at the past':
2009
To all the CIH ladies,
Here's hoping you all have a nice, 'warm' day, that you find a quiet moment to reflect on those special memories and moments that make you smile and bring you a level of comfort.
May your day be filled with warmth and inner peace.
To all the CIH men,
They will not fall for 'Valentine's Beer', again - women really are smarter than that - take it from one who learned the hard way. (2012 note: well...no I didn't).
Buy her red roses, but not those from the local dollar store. "They are REAL purty, they last longer and I was trying to be 'economically responsible'!" will not get it. Especially if you have a 'Valentine's Beer' in your other hand (yes, I am living proof of this one, also).
If your beloved is practical in nature and is a firm believer than any gift received must be useful, don't buy her a vaccum cleaner (yes I did) - you might end up amazed at all the 'hidden uses' there are for them - Women know these things. You do not know them. You do not ever want to know them.
2012
(Well...I'll be the first to admit my brains and capabilities may possibly have degenerated ever so slightly)
May the CIH women realize that they need to 'stay legally hooked-up for 10 YEARS with your man' before you legally claim his Social Security benefits, no matter if you dump him a month after the tenth year. Yes, all those benefits he borke his back to acquire will automagically become legally and safely YOURS
Yea.
He's YOUR Valentine, I tell ya.
(WinkHint for the CIH gents: That's right! Any doubt? Toss her out...before your 10th Anniversary, or she's legally got 1/2 yer money at 62.). That's PaW's 2012 gift to YOU, and well...you're welcome.
May the CIH women appreciate even the very most simple, yet meaningful gifts - fancy and expensive mean absolutely nothing! Take it from me - it is indeed the thought that counts.
Years ago, I bought MissyDWolf expensive and beautiful, useful presents (like that really nifty top-of-the-line SHARP Vacuum Cleaner - and I think I remember getting her some roses, too!).
THIS YEAR, I went to the local Wolfy Island Wilderness Flower Shop and stood in line with the other 20 or so gents (idiots) that were "shopping at the last minute"LOL
Given I try and give MissyDWolf a fresh flower every single day (always have), the owner has known us from our first day way out here. Today, he pulled me aside and had me lead the other 'lost souls' behind the counter and to the flower cooler to help them pick out quick gifts - had to give a quick speech and entertain. What was in it for me? I only had to pay a 200 percent mark-up for my rose. All the other stragglers had to pay probably a 300 percent markup on whatever they bought. Yea, I only got screwed twice as bad as the other customers getting taken three times as much. Doncha know everyone went home with a gift and a desire.
~~~In Conclusion~~~

The lesson of this little tale is that the CIH wimmins need to understand that your 'better half' willl run out on this day and painfully self-sacrifice because they love ya - so treat him right - those were his 'Beer Dollars' that passed away in YOUR name.Heart
Maybe he gave you that Lindt dark chocolate with a 'hint of seasalt' (which was all gone, today)

So, ladies - treasure your Men - Your Soul Mates. They love ya, probably...so make Valentine's special - but have so much fun that you become inspired to making every day Valentine's Day.

Here's wishing for (over 'the very long run') all the same incredibly wonderful ending and new beginnings as portrayed in "As Dreams May Come" (which may be one of the most emotionally painful movies for one to watch).
It happened with us - MissyDWolf and Self - we *knew* each other at a very early age - almost as if picking up and carrying on an interrupted conversation from days before us; life has never changed.
Valentine's Day is never forgotten...why not try and make every day Valentine's Day?

Though I thought love would never be for me, Don Cupid came to my door this year and I now have a love!
Thank God for kids who love Obscure Things.
