should stop...
Why? Because I have observed that every illegal street racing movie Hollywood has recently made has become progressively worse. First it was Fast & the Furious (I never watched I'd probably be bored of it) then it was 2 Fast 2 Furious (many have said it sucked), then there was Tourque (motorcycle racing never seen it) then there was Redline and I saw that movie on Starz, noted I did not see the entire movie but I came across it during the middle of it (I was bored) but man did this movie SUCK, bad music, most of the racing was on empty streets/areas NOT ONE F'ING MUSCLE CAR TO BE SEEN, and pretty much all the characters where self centered pricks who cared about money and winning and not much else, ugh these movie makes me want to make a movie where the hero drives a souped up black Charger Daytona filled with nitrous and weapons, complete with a light bar on top, who's job is to knock these assholes off the road anyway possible without hurting the general public (Mad Max style) I swear I thought Cars was a better movie (and that's a childrens movie) I think illegal street racing (which I do not condone in real life) as a genre was better as a video game medium and not as a movie medium. (and it should STAY that way.) |

Well said, AdN. We see way too much 'life imitating art (for a lack of better words)'.
When the 'stupid' learn a nasty lesson (since life does NOT evenly 'reflect' art), the price to pay is often much greater than ever anticipated...no sense in giving kids crummy ideas.
