For the first coupla years after I bought my house, I kept having dreams in which I'd walk into various houses and discover one incredible room after another.  Whether the houses were old or new, big or small (from the outside), they always seemed to have like 20 rooms.  Each room I'd come upon seemed like a revelation.

I think I was in the process of self-discovery following 22 years of living in small rented apartments, and my dreams reflected that.

While these dreams always felt exhilarating, still, I was always a bit disappointed when I'd wake up and find myself in a house that did NOT have 20 magnificent rooms.

Yes, I've had those types of dreams before.
I knew people in a dream that I would not have known in the waking world. Confused

In the dream, I had cut my leg and there was a bandage on it that looked like a huge bar of brown soap. I pulled off the "bandage" and underneath it, an outlet had grown on my leg. It looked like a standard outlet where you could plug things in.

Analyze that if you can.

Was it a two-pronged or a three-pronged outlet?

Because if it was a three-pronged outlet that means.........

Yep, that's me.  Me, with my 1600 sq ft house, one vehicle, standard TV, no cellphone, no MP3 player, underwear from the 1980's...  LOL

I've been having recurring nightmares.  Last night I was stranded in the city with no friends and no way to get home.  The night before, I was abducted and was going to be killed by the guy.  Something is definitely wrong here.  Confused

I could've gotten a smaller place, but I wanted two floors.  No good reason, I just did.  This is about as small as a 2-story gets.  Now that I have it, it's nice having the space.  When people visit, they have a choice of guestrooms.  After 22 years of having to have visitors sleep on the floor or couch, it's nice to be able to say "Which room do you want?"

I bought what I could afford to pay cash for at the time.

After 20 some odd years of writing a big check at the beginning of every month, it's nice to only have to pay phone, utilities & once a year property taxes.

Same here.  Of course, that's somewhat mitigated by the expenses of home upkeep and all the stuff you have to buy when you move into an empty house.  But it's sooooo worth it.

Not funny. This dream really disturbed me. I can't get that image out of my head.CryCry

Click on this website and look at the meanings for soap, injury, and electricity.  "Soap" and "injury" are especially related.

Thor, thank you so much! I checked that website and put in the symbols from that dream. it turns out that it doesn't mean anything bad. It just means that I feel my life is boring and I'm dying for something to come along and energize it. That's what the outlet meant. I feel better now. Smile

Had a weird one last night. It was about a black boy who had gotten into a fight with another kid. The fight ended up killing the other kid, but the black kid was paralyzed from the shoulders down. He was tried and found guilty for murder. I have no idea what it means.
Verdana is teh suck.

It means you're finding your conflict over race to be debilitating.

That is so weird! I have the same recurring dream, many rooms, each one made me feel slightly different, some made me very uneasy.

My dreams are quite random, I know one involved flying cats and cats, another one involved me in a flying version of the car I own (I remember trying to look for the freaking Skyway LOL I know which movie to blame that for) , and it also had to do with driving on highways, some had falling highway light poles(like they're rusted and falling apart), others well paved almost like we were racing on them (one part the road as I was following a motorcycle, went through a set of glass doors into a covered bridge type thing) LOL, I also dreamed that one of the intersections I'm familiar with was widened again and it had all this new signage and stuff, one with a sign part of it that said on a red background with white letters "Warnings Ahead" or something like that surrounded by white space with other words and a map I think, seriously random stuff. I vividly remember from the dream last night I was in some parking lot at a mall or something,at night looking for my car and that there was this annoying somehow magnetic fork that kept flying pricking me in the head, LOL it was annoying as heck, I eventually broke the fork in half but it still kept on flying around and pricking me, and it hurt ow, recently theres been a lot of dreams where sharp things manage stab or prick me, annoying and painful.

Heres an odd thing last night in my dream I was flying in my flying car around New York City looking for the new WTC, who the heck knows why, and when I finally found it I passed by it on the highway and it faded to some rusted something or other, I don't know, it made no sense.

Then theres those annoying dreams where I'm trying to run away from something but I get stuck on some stupid tread mill and I can't move/ run slower also annoying.

Oh then theres that dream where I find a pile of stuff(signs, products etc.) from Caldor in a semi demolished building wrapped up with clear plastic with my mom, but we're allowed not to take it but heres the thing the Caldor logo hardly even looked identical to the one I'm familiar with, must've had something to to with the Torrington Parkade.

Oh and I had a dream where I found my self next to a line of people waiting in front of a Zayre (with a sign with the wide serif logo) store in some mall, don't ask I don't have a clue.

Then there was that other odd dream where I was driving a flying gold car (don't ask I don't know the make or model) in a place where it had a skyway and a highway, and then there was this plaza  (green roofs light brown brick walls, sort of  L-shaped)that looked like it had little room in it, but when you went in it was huge endless grocery store (large as a shopping mall)(also had staircases) , I was there with my dad and we had to go take a test/exam in a certain section, then I had to go into a tight cramped space which I had to punch in certain numbers on a keypad, and then it was like a rocket they were taking a trip to the moon, but we ended up in the parking lot of a mall, really odd stuff, I haven't a clue.

That isn't the worst of it, theres even some crazy dreams that I can't even mention on here. LOL
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

I had a creepy one where I showed up at the PTO meeting and all of the other PTO moms were out in front of the school, comparing their tans.

In real life, most of them are not like that.  In case you were wondering.  Most.
