Or maybe it's a chance to redeem yourself if you bought the little woman one of those cheesey Vermont teddybears at Valentines.

If I wore jewelry, I'd buy something from ya, LOL. Meanwhile, I'll shamelessly bump this Thread for promotion purposes.Approve

Like I'm really going to waste my money on some overpriced crap that my mother won't even wear. Censored you, Kay and Jared Jewelers. I'm getting my mother a card and a balloon.

My mother doesn't eat candy. If we were to get her some, I'd be the one who'd eat it.

So, I WIN!!! Nanner nanner NAN-ner! Tongue

OK I'm a mom, and here's a secret:

Most moms don't want a lot of stuff.  If it's heartfelt and meaningful - great.  If it's just a gesture because you have to, well - you still have to, but don't go broke if it's just a gesture.

What mom REALLY wants is the fStaring DAY OFF.  No laundry, no cooking, no picking up after other people, etc.

If changing diapers is a part of her everyday to-do list, she should get the whole day off from those, as well.

Home-made cards and crafts from young kids are also good.  How "young" is up to your own interpretation Wink
Let's try not to be boring, mkay?
