I have had several that qualify for this list.
In the early 90's, I was helping to build a golf course and times were good...if we weren't working 15 hour days /7 days a week. The money was good, I had a pretty 87 Firebird that I left at home under a cover. I was burning wood for heat so I needed an old beater wood truck. I found a 68 Ford P-U that was a complete rust bucket. I had to run diagonal cables across the back of the bed, where the tailgate would be, just to keep the sides of the bed from bending out. It was only running on 7 cylinders so I had to get a valve job on one side of the engine. A machine shop I worked with agreed to do only the bad valve and seat. I bought the truck with a '3 on the tree' shifter. You young people...look it up! There was an easy and cheap conversion kit to move the shifter to the floor. I never put a boot on the shifter so it was a good place to dump a beer if I saw a LEO...never drink and drive! The cab mounts were so rusted away that it was surely a death trap had I had an accident. |

I don't think I've ever owned a car that I would call a total piece of crap.
They've all been decent at worst. |

It would have to be my crappy chevy chevette. It had a plywood floor, and I had to start it with a wrench.
