I know that this ad has probably been here before, but I couldn't find it on Google. This commercial is one of their all time worst, only being beaten by the one where you just hear screaming and it pans over to laundry heading down the stairs. The little twerp in this one is about as useless as they get. She'd fit right in on one of the Eharmony ads. And the damn moaning. Hate it. Especially in the middle of the night. Great to wake up to that crap. It's right up there with Terri from the anti smoking ad. Why can't Life Alert just get with the program and make a normal ad instead of using fear tactics to peddle their wares and services?

Oh, THIS one. I never did see the one with the laundry, but THIS one is on GSN all the TIME. It's ruthless scare tactics from the big national providers. My grandmother got a Phillips Lifeline system through a local hospital and the gentleman who set it up was so nice. But, the reason I mention him is that he said something like:

"My job is to sweet talk you--" he was very friendly and animated, and most of the deal had already been made -- "but the big national providers -- they sweet talk and sell you something."

There used to be a hip hop version where they parodied these commercials but help I've fallen and can't find it!

I approve this message.

I just turn off the TV before going to sleep. Solves that problem.

Yikes! The reason my grandmother got a Phillips Lifeline system was that she got her foot caught in the carpet and hit the wall. She yelled for 20 minutes and didn't get help until 20 minutes.

Back after three years away from here.
