I love France.
I HATE this commercial. Years ago a hair stylist, who was from France, told me she couldn't stand the old Roc commercials with the fake accents. ("Wouldn't it be easier to hire a real French person?") I guess if it grates on us, it must be many times worse for French people to hear it. Another French person told me her pet peeve was to hear French people who worked here (such as a restaurateur) exaggerating their accents to appeal to customers. |

Has anyone here actually figured out what her accent is yet? I'm still seeing these a few times a day and I don't want to seem "ignant".

Say something clever here...
No, I'm too lazy. Imagine it yourself. |

I think she is trying to fake French. The name Yoplait has a French pronunciation.

If that's the case, it's the worst fake french I've ever heard. (Pink Panther with Steve Martin, anyone?)
