Yes, the music is a little cheesy.
But it grabbed me and wouldn't let me go until I figured out exactly what they were advertising.

As twee as it is, I actually kinda like the song.  It sounds like something some baroque flower power group from the 60s would've put out...maybe found its way onto the soundtrack of some 60s movie.  Makes me think of Simon and Garfunkel's Scarborough Fair.  Or these guys who appeared on Ed Sullivan (or one of those old variety shows) a few times:

I also found the commercial 'grabbing', but it gives me a 'residual hangover' (not a real one, more a 'ghost of a hangover'), too.

Reminds me of the "Happiness Runs In A Circular Motion" song.

Here it is!

Damn, I'm good.  I did a little research and discovered that the song was indeed by the group I mentioned earlier---Free Design.  They were around a bit in the 60s.  I'd never heard it, but I knew who did it.  Kinda sad, considering I paid little attention to this kinda music at the time.

Here's the song from the commercial, starring Homer Simpson.  Nice harmonies, actually.

^Mesmerizing!

I think my favorite music comes from the late 50s to early 70s. I especially like music with guitars, flutes, drums and singing. I love big instrumental sounds.

The only thing that could make air travel less appealing is if Delta piped this unbelievably annoying song into the cabin.

In other words; I didn't especially care for it.
