Now here's a commercial both to the point and makes everyone look good, all the way to how to raise young girls correctly....hmmm!.
Yea - Irwin Tool commercials are some of my most very favorite commercials.
Why?
First and foremost, Irwin immediately sells their product through product feature/quality/benefit advice topped off with simple humor. Irwin makes REAL man-toys and they are GOOD.
Secondly...I actually went out and bought Irwin tools. All I could say at the register was..."Hmmm!..."

Ok. The tools look alright. I just can't see if the little girl is crushing a juice or beer can on her head? I'm sorry. I just don't get redneck "humor".

Anyone remember the Fosters  'Keeper' ad?
I couldn't find the video, the link is good.

They should have hired Tim Allen for a good tool man grunt.

WinkIt's just a 'Dad' thing, Sarge - and the little girl is smashing either a dixie cup or, more likely, a juice box on her head. Has nothing to do with 'redneck humor' - even my kids have done (and even though now adults, still can do) that. Teach a kid right by making them appreciate tools and they might pick up harmless little habits like that - but better yet, they can become MUCH more useful members of society, just like all of our girls. They could even grow up to be like the MissusDWolf, who knows her tools, takes care of them, and, in fact has a much better collection than I do - and she rarely asks for assistance. Do you realize I can actually buy her tools I WANT (but I don't tell her) as XMAS or Birthday presents, and she will get happily excited and appreciative? I'm telling you, us men need more women like that.
Now...if only I could get her outside and started on bleeding the brakes so I can have a restful Sunday afternoon and watch the idiot box without interruption...

Glad you found and posted this one. I get a laugh out of it too.
Especially the end with the kid and the guy grunting back and forth.

Simple and doesn't make men look like helpless morons.
And you get the idea that the little girl could turn a wrench if necessary too

WinkBig smileIt is SO important little girls learn to use tools - we men work SO hard all our lives! There will come a day our girls will need to look out for us, doncha know. Teach 'em right and they will be able to install that new garbage disposal unit in the kitchen sink, in no time - and maybe even replace the toilet.

A nice non-annoying, non-stupid, not loud, cute commercial. I like it!

WinkWell-said, AdN. The commercial is indeed pleasant and informative.
Actually, this is one commercial that sold me on first view, given we love tools and will probably fight over these as soon as I grab all three shown (and possibly a few not shown), sometime this week.

That's... That's an actual commercial... in 2014?
I was actually informed about products! Shocked

Did all the 20-something hipster marketing people finally run out of "clever" ideas?
Well, there's still a political message here, so I guess it's not perfect.
Still though... I'm in awe...

A perfect ad for men.  Shows the tools, no excessive yabbering, short, sweet, a little humor at the end showing the wee lass can take care of things too.  Just like Dad.  Hey, and none of the men in the ad were portrayed as dunderheads or idiots!  Refreshing!!! Clap

(And to borrow the old Irish Spring tagline, "Manly, yes, but I like it too."

You're a lucky man, Pa. My missus could care less about tools, 'cept mine.. I can't even get her to leave mine in the kitchen closet where they are easy to get to. She puts them "away" in the bedroom closet where I have to dig through tons of shoes to get them.
Say something clever here...

Only problem is, the name on the post and the YT video are spelled wrong, it is VISE-Grip.  They used to be made in DeWitt, Nebraska but Irwin shuttered the plant a few years ago and now they're made in China.

LOLInteresting and CORRECT! Sometimes our 'simple mistakes' fly right by us, but I guess that's o.k. as long as we can get a grip on our vices.

The YouTube title is incorrect too.  I guess they got confused because the guy's vice is his VISE-Grip tool collection!

ConfusedLOLAwww...count your blessings, i8! There's always a 'downside' - if I get a tool the Missus really likes, it will vanish, only to show up in her tools (which she actually HIDES, believe it or not). In fact, a few years back, I picked up a really nifty plastic tool case that unfolds and has about 60 compartments on the outside, with two snap covers. Great for nails, screws, whatever, then has plenty of room in logical compartments, on the inside. This last weekend, the Missus decided *SHE* had bought it and wanted to pick a fight in the garage because she wanted it back - and she was serious. No, she didn't get it and I had to take her out for a milkshake to calm her down (I really think she may be 'slipping'). And there's just no way I would ever fight my wife - she's far too brutal.Cry

Dear Saydi Torres,

Thank you for joining Commercials I Hate Forums.  The intent is to ruthlessly and viciously attack the commercials we hate, not the other forum members.  You have no business calling sgtrock21, or anyone else here, an idiot.  Get over yourself.

If you want to flame people you don't even know, please go to the Flame Room forum and do so.

Sincerely,
