Another way to make it even creepier is to cut its eyes out! Yeeeeesh!
One good thing about TV-you could always turn it off

I prefer Argento to Fulci personally. Both of them can get weird at times, but Argento does a much better job of building suspense and atmosphere(as well as generally just being better shot and directed), Fulci just relies on the gore.

I might see this movie. Never liked dolls, myself - wouldn't play with them, and sure didn't like them sitting on the shelf staring out at the room.  In fact, I think all dolls are pretty creepy...including Barbie, that "classic" fetish icon.

But did Argento ever crucify any nuns?

I actually like gore.  Some people call such movies "splatter films".  I became hooked in the early 70s, when I went to the drive-ins for a trio of such films---Night of the Living Dead, Last House on the Left and Don't Look in the Basement.  As I said, I like being mortified on occasion.

Gore has never mortified me. The opening kill in Argento's Suspiria was brutal but not nearly as gory as Fulci's stuff, yet it was far more intense and shocking to me than anything I ever got from Fulci. Relying on gore is, to me, a bit on the lazy side. I like plenty of gory movies don't get me wrong, but it's a lot easier to do something gory than it is to do something truly suspenseful or frightening IMO.

Honestly, I really do wanna see this film. But today most horror films suck so bad. I don't even know that I wanna spend good money on this. Eh, I'll just watch JeremyJahns review. The promo doesn't bother me. I love the look of that doll.

The idea of this movie irritates the living f**** out of me.

The true Annabelle story, with the true Annabelle doll, is really fascinating.  You don't need to add all this bs to make it scary.  It's a frightening story enough on its own.  I want to see a movie based on the actual events that happened surrounding the doll.  This movie's just going to be an 1.5/2 hours of jump scares and Hollywood trying to impress the teen crowd that finds cats leaping out of closets terrifying.

This movie can suck it.

Have any of you seen the "crap my pants" version of this trailer on either Cartoon Network Adult Swim or comedy central? I tried to find the video, but to no avail.
Say something clever here...

No, I'm too lazy. Imagine it yourself.

The Raggedy Ann doll looks lame, but the Annabelle doll looks like she will eat your soul...
